Not all. Some do. Who is Geoegia playing? Ohio State? Michigan? Oklahoma? Clemson? Tennessee? USC?

No. Bit my Week 0 idea would be very good, don't you think?

Correct. We all need to register at some point.
What Week 0 SHOULD Be.
Posted by Footballguru99 on 9/5/23 at 7:33 am
Week 0 games should consist of every FBS team squaring off against an FCS team. A de-facto exhibition game that still has meaning.
The previous winner of the FBS NC plays the previous winner of the FCS NC, and so on, using an "RPI" style system to rank opponents. For example, the 47th FBS team plays the 47th FCS team based on the RPI rankings frommthe previous year.
After Week 0, there will be no more FBS vs FCS games until Week 0 the following year.
I enjoy the big Week 1 games like FSU vs LSU, and don't want to see teams avoid scheduling these types of games for fear of being penalized too much. All teams have kinks to work out.
Clemson and LSU can still have very good seasons.

LSU Will Be Fine

They lost to a very good team. Thanks to LSU and FSU for playing a real game. Had LSU played Ball State or something similar, we would still be talking about LSU being a national contender. Teams should be punished for playing cupcakes.

ESPN is a progressive company.

I don't. I tell it like it is, like SAS does.

Marcus Spears has tremendous respect for Smith. Marcus is a good guy and I trust his opinion.

No. I'm a fan of Smith. That's all.

Most influential at ESPN. Finebaum would agree with me. Would love to hear SAS take calls on the Finebaum show.

Exactly. I watch First Take all the time. Smith is worth the millions he makes. I would like to see him as a guest commentator on Game Day.

He is one of ESPN'S top basketball experts. He can hold his own in football, too. Just ask ex-SEC standout, Marcus Spears.

He's a proud African American. Nothing wrong with that. He calls it like he sees it.

Agree. Sometimes his extreme theatrics make him come across as a buffoon. But when he sticks to sports, he's top notch.

Off topic here, but how many people here agree with me that SAS is the MOST influential sports media personality in the USA. The man knows his basketball and football, and he has many high profile athletes and coaches on his contact list. I always enjoy listening to his opinions.

There was a clown named Lance in Jasper. I haven't heard him for awhile. Maybe he is banned. Also, Charles from Reeltown has a few comical spars with Marcus Spears. Can still be seen on YouTube. Those interactions cracked me up.

I tune in occasionally to listen to football talk, but the ridiculous callers ruin it. I like call in shows, but I like to hear intelligent question s/opinions. Not unhinged rants.

I don't think they will have much problem winning the Big 10. MIchigan will be distracted all year with Harbaugh to the NFL reality. No one else will contend. Penn State...not even close.

Regardless, Jim Harbaugh is good for college football, and this is likely his last year as a college coach.
