re: The reasons I trust the front office drafting.

I hope they keep 3-4 as the base defense because I'm not feeling that most of these guys are suitable for a 4-3.

He's supposed to be a 245 pound outside linebacker. Teams will have a field day running to the opposite side of Jordan. The depth at DE is scary bad.

Who do they have starting opposite of Cameron Jordan. Bobby Richardson?

A fourth round pick would put them in a great position to nab a very good OG. I think the talent drop in the 5th will be noticeable.

Vadal in the 5th would be too good to be true.

I prefer Bombay and tonic. I will probably get a few later.

You guys will love him. An absolute stud.
Why does his stats suck?

Seems like EVERYDAY another 4 star TE is committing somewhere.
How many TE's do you want in this class? TE isn't a big part of our receiving corps and we are hurting for front 7 defensive players, especially linebacker.

I've noticed on several of the early recruiting lists, especially Rivals, where we are just about the only major football school on many of the 5* players lists that haven't offered them?
Why is this?
Les forgot to renew his Rivals subscription. Why don't you send him a reminder?

If he's going to keep running track, he won't be able to put on the weight to move to linebacker, especially not in a 3-4.

KT2 is the best at his position.

TAMU's DB depth is shitty and they still can't land any of the top CB prospects. Reality is going to hit the Ags on NSD that they aren't paying Chavis $1.7 mil for his recruiting abilities.

Yes LSU is recruiting him now as a WR but initially we pursued him as a DB and that's why he was looking elsewhere.
That was then and Dillon being offered as a WR is now. He affects who we take at WR, not at DB.

I don't mean to downgrade him, after all I am from Texas and really enjoying seeing LSU sign Texas players, but with Dillon still a pretty good possibility, does LSU really need another DB/athlete type? It seemed like, as usual, that need has been addressed extremely well already.
Dillon is a WR.
re: Does LSU go after a 2 or 3 star LB or DL and convert to FB?

Likely a walk on. We are pretty good at finding good walk on FB candidates. Mouton would be a waste as a pure blocking FB. Hback he would be great at but we have to use his skills in the passing game. Ducre will do similar to what Hilliard did. Has to get carries though
H-back is a fullback who can play in the slot. I doubt we are going to have two fullbacks on the field at the same time. Mouton will be our fullback if Ducre plays more halfback.

What makes you think that a LB or DL from high school who doesn't lead block will be a better FB than Ducre? We also have Mouton.

I'm hoping Loomis isn't taking anything from Matt Millen's draft strategy guide.
