re: We saw Lilio & Stitch last night, solid family movie (maybe spoilers?)

Watched it today with the kids . Ending kind of cheapened the whole ohana mentality. Also I felt it missed the character development getting stitch to turn good with the Elvis montage like the cartoon.

New Superman Trailer Fixes a Key Scene After Backlash
The internet wins again.
The internet wins again.

Some fans were annoyed that Superman reacted when getting hit in the head by a can thrown by some kind of protestor. His head move sightly and most notably, he blinks. Some felt like a superhero that has the power to have bullets bounce right off of him probably shouldn’t be fazed by a tin can. It’s a minor detail that likely wouldn’t have been a big deal after the film’s release, but it seems that scene has been tweaked.

Did they change Superman’s reaction to the bottle being thrown at him? Seems there was a lot of talk about he flinching and blinking compared to other Superman not even blinking when a bullet hits him in the eye

If the F4 in Arkansas had hit a city with 100k people, you wouldn't get this thread. FACT.
This thread is because of the fear mongering around New Orleans metro which was not warranted and its inclusion in a risk zone of 4/5 with no context causing decision makers to freak out and cancel shite. Data driven map comes out of Oklahoma and no one uses common sense regarding potential outcomes other than red map bad let’s cancel everything.

But it’s not cancelling outdoor events it’s shutting everything down. Archdiocese of New Orleans recommended cancellation of any extra curricular school activity including indoor events for an abundance of caution and risking people out and about in the weather. And everything points to the big scary map with the arse tip of the moderate level starting around New Orleans . With no discussion of an actual weather forecast and some winds

Weather, even at its best, is an inexact science.
Which is more reason that these severe weather threat events need to be treated with gray area. Decision makers get a map see a threat level 4/5 and decide to shut everything down.

These sensationalist maps with reds and oranges play a huge factor in decisions made as an abundance of caution. Prayers to everyone that experienced a catastrophic event but for New Orleans metro this never should have been blown up to what it was. We need less scary maps and more common sense meteorologists who can set a realistic expectation.

So guessing nothings changed for the New Orleans area? Painted red on a map but most of the bad shite way east of us?
