Absolute terrible terrible approach.
On a hole that only had a handful or less of birdies today, he decides to go pin hunting instead of getting on and two putting for par to go to a playoff. No reason at all to do that with how the pin placement played today.

Chamber sealer is the way to go. I have one that operates with an oil pump. I’ve had mine for 10 years and it gets used multiple times daily from sept-March and multiple times per week for the rest of the year. It’s a significantly better than the suction style. Higher initial investment, but they operate better and the bags are much less expensive.
ETA: the frickers are heavy, so you need to find a designated space for it if you go that route. Mine stays in the shop at the lodge during hunting season and in my shop at the house outside of hunting season.

Are you going to act like LSU fans wouldn’t do something similar?
I had a counter balanced 38” started out loving it, once the honey moon phase was over. I hated it.
Traded it for a lab oz with the insert. Much much better for me. ZT is a different animal though. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, they’re incredible, I can’t start a putt off line if I tried.

2 thugs from a team littered with thugs not getting along, what a shocker.

It’s how LSU fans cope with less than stellar performances by former players in the pro ranks. Prime example is Sam burns, which we haven’t gotten our weekly thread about him yet.

Do you say that strictly for the scenery? I'm not sure that it's a great PGA Tour course.
The south course 100% can be setup to play extremely tough.

What about adult golfers that vandalize country club locker rooms?
Or improve their lies in a major tournament?
Or refer to wine as “grape”?
I don’t care for the heckling, but if there is anyone who deserves it, it’s Wyndham Clark.

Exactly. The roll or 2 that continuously doesn’t hole on Sundays. I swear it’s like some of you bbq with Sam burns family the way yall take criticism of the young man personally.

100%
Both things can be true.
Is he an exceptional golfer? - absolutely
Does he have trouble closing out tournaments? - absolutely
He missed quite a few very makable putts both yesterday and today that had he sunk half of them he probably wins with how Clark came back today.
He continuously battles and finds himself in the top 10 to top 5s in tournaments but he just can’t get over the hump in signature events or majors. It’s not a personal attack on the young man, it just is what it is.

He would benefit from a fitting.
Most places if you give them a budget they’ll stay within it or you can take his data and send it to takomo and they’ll build him set. I would def get him fit. Just so many different variables than shaft flex.
Shaft length, lies, grips, etc.

Plus 2 - where did you play college golf?!?!
I didn’t, I’ve just been playing for 50 years and don’t work between April and September so I play lots of golf. I’m not that good anymore, don’t hit the ball as far as I’ve gotten older. My index is 0.7 right now.
re: How important do you consider the ball you play as a mid-handicap?
Posted by SmoothBox on 6/19/26 at 10:13 pm to Jon A thon
It doesn’t matter for the majority of players. However, you have to have confidence in the ball you play, play the ball you think best suits you. That’s where it matters for most players especially high-mid handicappers,

I played there 2 years ago I was a +2 then and shot 79 and that wasn’t from the championship tees and the rough wasn’t near as brutal, the greens probably were rolling faster though. It’s an insanely difficult track.

If his dad wasn’t who he was, Eduardo would be a travel ball coach in Miami.
