All he's done for the program? He just trashed it with one stupid, self-centered move. Good grief, my six year old knows better than to hand an NCAA athlete cash.

He's an attention whore that needed another 15 minutes since he was inconsequential last season.

Kiffen screwed USC and Tennessee and was behaving like a jackass this week. Late to meetings, and the staff had it.

Kiffen is horrible and would have been bad foe LSU.

How can you argue with this? A quote from Coach O on espn.com.

"Orgeron, 55, is a Louisiana native.

"This is bigger than life," he said. "Driving past the stadium, I just wanted to be an assistant coach here. I just wanted to have my feet on the grass, but I knew once I got here I could earn my way up to being the head coach. I wanted to take it one step at a time, and every step I went, I was preparing to come back home to LSU.

"That was my goal the whole time -- to go out and go to Miami, go to Syracuse, go to USC and prepare to get better. I wanted to come back to be the best football coach I could possibly be when I took this job, and I feel like that happened. I'm prepared to do it.""

To Coach O, this is his destination job. Period. End of story.

Miles was average for half his tenure and we stuck with him. It's not about money, it's about vision. Alleva admitted mediocrity was the goal when he said he wanted to COMPETE for championships, not win them.

I am looking forward to Coach keeping the LA talent in LA. And the guy would have killed to get the job. Glad he got it.

Herman's agent was playing LSU against Texas, and Herman's preference was Texas. That was said a few weeks ago. If LSU wanted to pay him, great, but all Texas had to do was match it and Herman was at Texas.

I, for one, am glad Alleva didn't allow LSU to be used to barter a better deal for Herman at Texas.

Herman won at UH with inherited talent and Greg Ward is gone this year. I bet Herman will fail at Texas.

From the fake field vs. Spurrier's Gamecocks, to the crazy Matt Flynn to Demetrius Byrd pass with a second left vs Auburn (ironic, right?), to the Jacob Hester 4th down plays in what was one of the best college football games ever vs. Florida, Les did it his way. He earned that nickname "Lesticles." He's a good man and I'll miss him.
