It’s OK some 20 year old ‘reporter’ from WBRZ told me this morning that a level 2 travel advisory is “not that bad” and that the protests are “mostly peaceful” and about school funding.

Is that one of those pre-packed bean soup kits that come in a bag or is it your own recipe? If so could you post it? Looks awesome. May be on the menu tonight.

Don’t know if you’ve noticed but literally EVERYTHING about McDonald’s is crap. The only thing that remotely resembles the McDonald’s we grew up with is the smell of the fries.

Atmosphere: Drab, sterile, boring. They do not want people coming inside and actively discourage engagement with the kiosk BS.

Service: Among the worst in the fast food industry. Haven’t seen a friendly or smiling face there in many years, which is why I rarely ever go unless I’m forced to for some reason.

Drive thru experience: They’ve actually added ‘pull up for your order’ extra windows because delayed orders are now built into the process. It’s not even a convenient place to stop anymore.

Prices: Absolutely insane and still rising. I cannot fathom going there and actually feeling like you had a satisfying experience.

No more Ronald McDonald, and no more of the characters and kid friendly environment. No playgrounds, no birthday parties, no fun atmosphere. Snarling, rude, angry faces as you pay for the privilege.

Other than misplaced nostalgia, I truly don’t know how the company stays in business. The food was never that great but you liked it for the associations. All of that is gone so what’s left? Makes no sense to me.

TSA workers are federally protected McDonald’s level employees They are empowered to yell and scream at anyone they want and generally treat people like shite, and you have to just take it. They’re also unionized. Thanks, W.

I notice she’s using her more colloquial ‘black’ accent since she’s talking to a black interviewer and wants to pander.

These people are obviously putting on a show. It’s sickening.

They’re both frauds but at least Harbaugh has accomplished something at some level. McDaniel is a video game nerd who coaches like it’s Tecmo Bowl and gets you free draft picks because he’s like 1/8 black. Neither should he coaching in the NFL in 2026.

Baton Rouge has one of the ugliest capital city downtown ‘skylines’ I’ve ever seen. It could be great, too. Damned shame.
