re: Hearing aids

I’ll add to what Skippy notes here, bc it’s accurate. There’s no comparison between high end multi channel hearing aids and amplifiers if you have severe or profound hearing loss.

Do yourself a favor if you get over the ear that come with the rubber tips. Have the audiologist make custom molded speakers for your ear canal. You can thank me later.

I have Phonaks as well. Warerproof Audeo P90s. I can pretty much hear normally with these. My HF hearing loss is so bad I can’t even hear the home alarm going off if I’m lying on my right ear.

re: Which Truck to Get?

Traded a 16 KR last year for an AT4. I ended up getting it bc I liked the look of it better. But if I could go back, I’d get another KR.

Nothing major as the GMC is a nice truck. I wish I could take this 3.0 diesel out of it and put in the Ford. 26mpg doing 70 is sweet. And it pulls my #6000 trailer with no issues. But outside the looks and mileage, I’d take the F150.

F150 was more comfortable on long trips, easier to see your corners, load flat rear floor, button in the bed to turn on bed lights, interior lights much better at night, and FORScan to customize everything. The option for good retractable running boards was great too. Can’t get them on AT4 and the ones on the Denali don’t feel nearly as solid as the ones on the Fords.

BakFlip here too with the F1 on a 2016 F150. Not sure why it took me this long to start using covers. But I’m definitely gonna have one on any new truck going forward.
Jail Break

Tether ball was middle school for me, but I would play that all the time.
Any more invites out there? My friend would appreciate it.

Thanks!

re: I want to play Bama and here's why

Bama actually has far more to lose in this game than us. We would have beat your vaunted defense and "best" coach on the face of the earth, twice; in one season. Tusc. might burn.

That game might need to be the one we need to win to be considered better than Miami '91.

So do we want to play OSU and be a great team....or do we play Bama and become THE team. Definitely a lot more risk in the latter.
All except for the Win part. :rotflmao:
B4Tide, I agree. I was referencing the 'tards that call into that show. I'm definitely gonna listen to the replay Monday night.
Finebaum caller on Monday (11/7):

"Paul, I don't think Nick Saban is the right coach for the University of Alabama..."

Book it! :nana:

Done again. :nana:
Wow, I had pretty much forgotten about this. I did it a couple years in the late 80s. Thinking about it now, I do remember bringing binoculars....but they weren't for watching the game.

I could tell you were nervous, but you were fully coherent.

Yeah, people bringing up valid points and not sounding like complete morons...apparently that's too much for him to deal with. :banghead:

Yep, it was definitely Sham.

He pushed him in the Derby and Preakness. But he broke Sham at the Belmont...just like we're gonna do to Bama tomorrow.
