What do you think?

I just read this SEC country article on Facebook. I don't agree with this assessment. What about everyone else. They are saying we will lose 3 games next year.

Everyone needs to take into consideration the fact that was his first gig. Everyone who is new to a job has to learn. He has already said he treated the head coaching job as a DL coach would. He got in his players face and got involved in everything. He has learned from his time at Ole Miss and changed his ways. You can see from the way the players played and and reacted. Boycott if you wish but when we are winning don't say anything.

Look I am not a troll. I am only stating what I read and the link is on the page for you to click if you do not believe me.
Bye, fair weather fan.

The staff should stay in place and with the hire of a great OC LSU will be great. The talent is there we just need the offense and then the motivation of the players to win.
I cannot remember where I read it and you can bash me for this I do not care. I read an article somewhere that the juniors were all going to meet with Coach O and discuss their options. Fournette also said he is not ready for the pros. I will try and find the article. I also believe the juniors have unfinished business. They want a national title for LSU and most of them will return!!!!

What I don't understand is Alleva's fascination with Jimbo, and besides all of that I don't trust him or the present leadership of LSU to hire the correct man for the job. I am so hoping they get a great coach and they keep the coaching team in place. If not our recruiting class possibly disappears and then where will we be. :banghead:
CLick the link and watch the video. I know McElroy is a Alabama guy, but I agree with what he shows. If Fournette does not press there may have been a different outcome.

What about this prediction

I came across this article this morning and found it offensive. Is this guy suppose to be an expert. Can't he see this is a different team? I don't know but it is haters like this that aggravate me. They only see a Miles' coached team and not the talent and the new coaching staff.

DUde the proof is what happened in the Texas Tech game. GO back and watch it. He was the sidelines and when Harris got rattled he settled him down. He made a big difference being there for Harris.
With we if you mean me, then you're wrong. This is the first time I have thought this and believe our chances are greater than other years. We have the recruiters who can pull this off and make this another great class.
You see it is because of people like you being sarcastic that others do not post. I made an honest statement because we have one 5 star, then there are at least 3 others that 247 sports is predicting to chose LSU over other offers.
There is real strong possibility that we sign as many as 5 5 star recruits this year. What does everyone think about that.

I agree with the idea of turning Harris loose
I am not a professional when it comes to talent or DNA for winning, but the coach who said this, and by the way is not named, made me mad and should others if they believe in Harris.

I agree. There are some problems at Alabama with the resignation of Bo Davis. How that plays out we won't know til the season gets here.

The first four comments that were made on today's report are encouraging for the coming year.

1. Throwing more than 50 percent of the time in a closed scrimmage is enough to get Tiger fans excited about a potential shift in the passing game. Whether this will be reflected on Saturdays this fall remains to be seen, but at the start of spring practice, LSU has put much more emphasis on passing.
2. Speaking of the passing game, newly hired receivers coach Dameyune Craig, a former quarterback who served as QB Coach at Florida State, has been given the green light to help with the quarterbacks. Brandon Harris says it’s helping.
3. What good is a strong arm without a little accuracy? This spring, Harris has recognized the need for touch, and Craig and Cam Cameron are helping him develop said touch. Accuracy charts show a clear improvement.
4. If it isn’t broke don’t fix it, or in LSU’s case, if a subtle change helps produce a bowl game blowout, roll with it. Coming off of the heels of the 56-27 victory against the Red Raiders in December, Cameron will return to the sidelines to coach instead of manning the press box.

LSU projected No 1 in ESPN's FPI

Espn showing us some love. I want our team to show up and dominate like this prediction shows.

The Tigers certainly have the talent. LSU has stacked four consecutive top six recruiting classes together, per the 247Sports Composite and returns a Heisman Trophy favorite in Leonard Fournette.
I read this article and He says some very impressive things about Aranda. And seemed impressed with Aranda.

“He’s like a mad scientist,” Lawrence said of Aranda, “in a good way. He’s a great coach. A lot of people said negative things about the 3-4, but I watched the film and he didn’t have many dominant defensive linemen. He showed me what he’s doing at LSU, and it’s going to be pretty special.”[/quote]

How pathetic!

I was just scrolling through Facebook and found this.

Ole Miss missed out on a commitment from a coveted four-star offensive tackle that picked LSU Thursday, but the Louisiana native said coach Hugh Freeze came by his school last week to tell him the Rebels didn’t have room for him anyway

That sounds about right for Ole Miss.
