The Rebels are going to win this game. I just think they are the better team.

LOL. I posted the same on Hogville because some Hog Fans think NIL is he crux of all our problems. Apparently, in a lot of cases, good coaching trumps high-paid NIL players.

re: If/when Blake Baker spurns LSU, does his decision say more about Mizzou or LSU?
Posted by 10InchTusks on 1/5/24 at 9:04 pm
Baker to LSU was as predictable as the sun coming up in the morning if LSU wanted him. Like I posted earlier:
Missouri is not even on the same radar screen as LSU is as a program. If LSU wants him or anybody else off the Missouri staff, they’ll get them. Missouri is nothing more than a stepping-stone program and always will be. That’s just the facts.

It's better playing LSU because if you win, it means something. Beating Missouri is not much different than beating Missouri State. Yeah, yeah, we all know Missouri has beaten some of the worst teams in Arkansas history. Congratulations, so has every other SEC team.
Missouri went .500 against SEC West teams; a third place LSU and a last place Arkansas. Their wins against SEC East teams had a combined 27-33 record. Let that sink in. Tiger Fans want to thump their chest over their “great’ season they had, but their best win came against an average 8-4 Kansas State/Big 12 team. Bravo!
When Missouri has to start playing Bama, LSU, Auburn, Oklahoma, Texas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State. Etc. on a regular basis instead of Vandy, Kentucky, S. Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee, they will be in the dung heap as they should be. Missouri is a shitty, woke university that belongs in the MAC or some other shitty conference, the problem is NO other conference wants them.

LOL, you act like beating Arkansas is something to brag about. Hell, that puts you in the same category as Liberty and BYU. Congratulations. But, that doesn't change the fact that Missouri is a shite university, in a shitty state, with a bunch of woke, shitty fans. It is what it is. Missouri has NEVER won anything of any significance in any sport. Period! Missouri is not now nor ever has been a benchmark program IN ANY SPORT! In fact, they are a stepping-stone program and always will be. Deal with it!

Because ignoring "small" things like this have weakened the United States to a point that the damage may be irrevocable. But it’s not surprising that you and those like you don’t see the bigger picture. The dumbing down of the population is intentional, has been going on for decades, and will be the undoing of the United States as we know it. I would bet most young people in the United States are more interested in who Taylor Swift is banging than events that will have impact the world for decades if not centuries. Communist refers to those people s useful idiots.
President Kennedy attributed the following quote to Edmond Burke, but that’s up for debate. Nonetheless, whoever coined the phrase “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing” couldn’t be truer.
People fall basically into three categories; you either fight evil, join evil, or do nothing to combat evil. Doing nothing is no different than being evil as they both accomplish the same goals. As a person, you will need to decide what category you fall in.

Liberalism is truly a disease of the mind.
Dogs are a direct reflection of how they were bred and raised. Pit Bulls are “dangerous” because their owners made them that way. Many dog breeds can be "dangerous" if they were bred and raised like pit bull are (see link below to see other “dangerous” dogs), but I noticed you made no mention of any of them.
Just like not all Muslims are “dangerous” and want to destroy all non-Muslims, some are because of the way they were raised and indoctrinated. Those would be the radicals that give all Muslims a bad rap. Educate yourself before making additional ignorant comments.

They're a good team that has had some tough breaks and a tough schedule thus far. After this week, things get significantly more manageable. I could see the Hogs winning out after tomorrow.
Not sure what you have been watching but Arkansas is NOT a "good" team and they are poorly coached in certain areas, especially the offensive line. If Arkansas can't beat the likes of BYU and Old Miss, we don’t deserve to go to a bowl game. Period!
The Pittman experiment has failed and it’s time to move on. And my mind won’t change if somehow the Hogs beat Bama tomorrow because “good” teams don’t lose to the likes of Liberty, BYU, Missouri, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State, and let teams like Kent State, Missouri State, Kansas, and other low-level teams hang around. Pittman has been given enough time and he has proven he can’t get the job done.

Exactly. I've said for a long time that the dumbing down of the United States is almost complete and it's intentional, has been going on for decades, and it all starts in the government run “public” schools.
A large portion of our population is more interested in who some Hollywood whore is banging or who is on Dancing with the Stars, than they are learning and knowing about world events. We reap what we sow.

Interesting gun details but,,,,,,,,,,have you figured out your home defence strategy. For example , safe rooms worked partically in Israel. Are you one gunner, or do you have flanking associates. Do you have long range defence 300-400 yards, followed by medium 100-200 yards, followed by close in shot gun, followed by pistol. Trigger specs are inconsequential.
Triggers are very consequential on all firearms, especially those used for longe range. And yes, all those things you mentioned have been addressed and plans, back-up plans, and back-up to back-up plans are in place.

Does anyone else have the feeling that quite a few things aren't quite adding up ?
Yeah, like the Palestinians just want a place of their own and they will leave Israel to live in peace. NOT! Islamic militants/terrorists want to eliminate Israel. Period! Nothing else matters if you are an Israeli citizen and it's either eliminate your enemy or be eliminated.

ALL Palestinian protesters in other countries supporting the murders and rapists should be rounded up and turned loose in Gaza. Then they can show just how committed they are to their "cause".

Uh, NO.
You think Israel’s letting the ICC handle this? Germany was looking for ways to hand over the Munich terrorists in 1972 after they got captured because they wanted the whole thing to go away.
Hence why Golda Mier had the hit squads assembled.
Without question! Check out the movie Sword of Gideon about that very subject.

Thanks. I'm working from home tomorrow anyway so I'll already have an AR-15 nearby.

I'll also be home, but my "go to" rifle is a tricked-out IWI Tavor SAR (Geissele Trigger Pack & Super Sabra Lightening Bow Trigger, shorten top rail, pressure light on replacement forearm, with an Aimpoint red dot). The original trigger was heavy but I guessing the replacement Geissele is a very nice 4.5 - 5.5 LBS. Now that would be some irony; a United States citizen defending his family from Islamic Terrorist with an Israeli made weapon.

I didn't pay him anything but Arkansas paying him anything more than a swift, stout kick to the crotch should have been grounds for termination and everyone involved in that debacle was.

I knew some players on the team when he first got to Arkansas and they told me he lost the team in the very first team meeting. He started the meeting telling the players to sit up straight and put both feet on the floor. He followed that great opening line with something like this and I'm paraphrasing; if you doing things right I wouldn't be here. It went downhill from there.
