I was alive during that time. I am fully aware of what. Carter and his NSC determined that the Shah could not survive the unrest and Carter sent a general to Iran to tell the military to stand down. He then facilitated Khomeini back to Iran.
The ayatollah said something nice about Trump. This is disgusting, a lot of Iranians put their lives on the line because they thought Trump would help them. Once again they’re screwed by US President.
Jimmy Carter enabled the mullahs to come to power. He’s deserves credit for that and the terrorism that followed.

The revolt will be crushed by the time they get the carrier there. I don’t believe the protestors can survive a week against the security forced. The regime will be able to slaughter thousands before any help arrives. That really sucks CO’s and is hard to sit by and watch.

Frick sanctions, they need to start killing these evil bastards!
They won’t issue the opinion until June. I think they will rule tariffs are taxes and have to go through Congress. They will order the Administration to refund the money collected. Once that happens, all of the countries that negotiated new trade deals because of the tariffs will renege on the deals.
