I’m afraid importing Californians, Indians and Muslims has changed the electorate to slightly Blue. Texas may be trending toward purple instead of reliably Red.

I think he’s got an excellent chance to beat either Paxton or Cornyn. He’s definitely got a shot against Cornyn. If you’re an incumbent that has 58% or so of the voters voting against you, you are toast. The GOP has 2 awful candidates. I’m not optimistic that the GOP holds this seat. Hopefully they can pick up seats in GA and Michigan.

Iran would nuke us if they had a chance. We need to make sure we have reduced them to the point that it would take them 100 years to get back. I have come to the conclusion that there will be no regime change. The regime is too entrenched and will not be overthrown without boots on the ground. Air power alone will not get it done. We need to declare victory and end it now.

Cornyn needs to drop out and endorse Paxton if the GOP wants to have a chance to keep the seat. I think it will be tough for the GOP to retain this seat based on the turnout. Better prepare to see a Dem Senator.

The Shah was not installed in 1953, he became Shah in 1941 when his father was forced to abdicate for being cozy with the Nazi’s. In 1953, the PM was forced out for being cozy with the USSR. The British were also involved in the ouster.
It will be worse when he gets off. I believe the jury will let him off because they hate the victim and will let off due to jury nullification.
