Doesn't matter. The Democrats could scream at each other non-stop until election day and they will still win. The GOP fricked up, as usual, and will pay the price.

I think 50 for the GOP is the best-case scenario, Collins is toast, Husted is gone and NC, Tillis' seat is gone. Texas and Alaska may also be out of reach. The lack of effort by the GOP will deliver power to the Democrats. 2028 will be the real bloodbath for the GOP. I would bet a lot of GOP will head for the exit after 2026.
Trump hated Cornyn, so endorsing Paxton helped to get rid of Cornyn. That endorsement doesn't require Trump to throw away his money on Paxton. If Paxton was a decent candidate, he would have no problem raising money in Texas. Nobody likes that arsehole.
I think it will be close:

I think the Democrats could go higher if MAGA voters stay home because Trump is not on the ballot. If Trump can't get some sort of end to the Iran War, the GOP losses could be heavier.

Trump should keep all of the money and not give any GOP candidates his money. Theres no point in throwing it away on losers like Paxton. Trump should just take it because the money was donated to him, not useless losers.

Sounds like momentum has shifted again and Putin is winning. Ukraine should have surrendered long ago.

Trump believes everyone has a monetary price. He is used to dealing with people who are interested in the same things - MONEY. He has run into a buzz saw because the mullahs are fanatics and don't care about making a deal that benefits anyone. They are prepared to be wiped out rather than capitulate. Trump overestimated the ability of the military to win absent sending in ground troops. Hegseth, Bibi and others sold him on a painless, low risk strategy. He is trapped now and there is no way out except to declare victory and go home.

GOP doesn't give a shite. They are a bunch of self-serving losers who will not fight for anything. Forget about getting elected GOP to do anything because they have written off the midterms and beyond. I don't plan on voting for the GOP again.
Probably the best that can be done. A jury would not convict him because they hate the victim.

No, they didn't. There is no difference between a DSA and a "moderate" Democrat. The DSA is honest about their positions; the Democrat hides it be not openly stating them as a Socialist. In the end, they both want the same thing - power and permanent power.
