I dont like it
Looks slow defensively and we cant rebound

it's situational; the idea is firepower
i kinda like the idea of mackinnon and zipper on the floor at the same time
quote:

Tamba had no teams after him. He was supposed to be a depth guy and McMahon is playing him more minutes than our leading scorer.

mcmahon always has a player (or two) that he's seemingly infatuated with and gives a shite ton of minutes unnecessarily. i think tamba will be that player.

not really sure what he is besides an effort guy
quote:

Wow what a spin move. Great body control from Reece.

do yourself a favor and go watch his highlights. the kid is nice
love to see the bench go crazy for zipper making that 3
reece is nice. very comfortable with his dribble moves
quote:

This team is getting their hand on the rebound but either mistiming the jump or simply not corralling the rebound. Probably just need a Mikan drill (do they still do that?).

Too many block attempts as well...

mcmahon's teams here have never been good at rebounding
quote:

So it’s my first time seeing Reece. I love the motor and effort. But can he develop an outside shot next year? He looks like he’s not ready for prime time yet but there are plenty of games to get him ready as a 5-10 mins back up in the SEC.

he's saucy, he just needs to get used to this level of competition
quote:

No excuse other than coaches did not have them ready.

complacency.

as the great darius days once said: "we were smelling ourselves too much"
quote:

Yeah they definitely talked him up and gushed over him. He also just turned 19.

he was basically a year ahead. same age as HS seniors during his freshman year. that's why i'm saying he needs to get used to his frame. think about how much muscle jalen reed put on from year 1 to year 3. he was a twig his freshman year
sutton plays his fricking arse off. he's like corey chest with an offensive bag
king and sutton are my favorite players on this team
quote:

If you want to be a miserable bitch every game until we lose, knock yourself out. Not everyone watches the game that way.

you are consistently a contrarian. you can never put your money where your mouth is
quote:

Not playing miller more shocks me.
I know we invested alot in him

preseason press conferences had mackinnon and thomas saying rob was going to be a 1st round pick

i think the talent is there, he's just raw and needs to develop. these ooc cupcake games should see him getting a lot of pt
while we discuss last year's team, as much as i respect kent lowe him saying a difference with this team being experience is laughable.

we heard the same shite last year when we signed 3 5th year players to be in our starting lineup (bailey, sears, carter)
quote:

Nice pass from Mac, he seems to have good vision

i agree, he has good court vision
quote:

That's fair. I also think last year's team looked completely different after Reed got hurt. It was the first time a MM team looked like it might develop an offensive identity, but unfortunately, that identity was centered around Jalen Reed.

agreed. once jalen got hurt mcmahon was kinda clueless with the lineups. playing dji bailey at pf and stuff like that
