re: "What does 'appropriately sized tampons' (for men) mean?"
Posted by TigerBaitOohHaHa on 3/24/26 at 4:34 pm to uggabugga
in this case, presumably, it would be for the women pretending to be men that would need these. An extra layer of weirdness is that there aren't free tampons in the Womens bathrooms. Unless I'm at the gym or spa, public bathrooms don't have free products. There are no expectations for free products. Why should a woman pretending to be a man get free products? Can I walk my 100% woman self into the men's room to take advantage of the free women's products in the mens room?

People using "if you're Christian" like some trump card. Here is a moral dilemma for you:
risk 3,000 servicemen + any collateral casualties now.
OR
wait until Iran has a nuke and hits London killing millions of people?
You see, real life is complicated and full of trade offs so keep your "if you were a real Christian" bullshite to yourself. Once Iran has long range nuclear capabilities, they would be untouchable.

Its a huge gamble that, if it pays off, will be the largest political play of my lifetime. I know "regime change" is a bad word in certain circles, but yes.. if you are going to go after a snake you have to make sure it is dead before you turn your back on it.
It could also turn to shite.
I absolutely support the effort and admire a President willing to put action to words rather than just saying "don't" like the previous administration.

how trained do you have to be?
1) confiscate grandma's nail clippers
2)make ladies throw out their expensive cosmetics-keep them to take home later
3)pull a few people out to grope
4)every fourth bag, keep it in the Xray for an extra 5 minutes to keep the line from getting too short.
5) stand around and flirt with fat female co-workers
6) yell at families struggling with baby, stroller, two suitcases and diaper bags as they get their shoes off
Seems pretty easy.

re: Politicians: 1) Americans can complete an annual 1040. 2) Photo IDs for Voting is Racist.
Posted by TigerBaitOohHaHa on 3/23/26 at 1:49 pm to UncleLester
How about this angle:
Voting is a constitutional right of every citizen and showing an ID is too hard and will deny a constitutional right to people who don't have their shite together.
But ALSO, anyone who wants to buy a gun (also a constitutional right). should have to show ID and go thru extensive background check.
That said, Liberals have never been bothered by hypocrisy.

I'd rather pay for one weight prescription than half a dozen for blood pressure, depression, sleep, insulin, hypertension, cholesterol..

what point are you trying to make?
We shouldn't debate action in Iran?
We shouldn't push our representatives for fair elections?
Its not fair your protege got arrested?
Your protege was arrested because its Trumps fault?
You might be inconvenienced visiting your protege in jail (cough, might have to show your ID) ?
You are morally superior/know more than the rest of us because of your work in the community?
There is not a cogent thru line here.

Disposable contacts left in sink to dry every day until they are so hard they have to be scraped off the porcelain. Teen boys not flushing piss until it actually turns into a solid in the bowl

I really don’t care staged vs real. If you call death to Americans, you can’t claim victimhood over bacon.

I used to look forward to the rare Biden speeches and would watch them with snacks, wondering how badly he would mess up. He had one state of the union where he did better than expected. Still bad. But somewhat cogent-ish.
I did not spend every waking moment of my time obsessing over it, railing about it on social media posts or otherwise working myself into a wild-eyed, spitting, batshite frenzy wailing and gnashing my teeth over every single damned thing they did or said.

I’m not interested because I think I’m descendant from a king or something. I like to know what the day to day life was like for my ancestors and what they went thru for me to even be walking on this planet today. My third great grandmother lost her husband and three children within two weeks during a typhoid outbreak. My Irish came over as quarrymen and worked on the Erie canal. My great great grandfather was a republican Sheriff, his brother held in a confederate prison during the war. My French side came up through New Orleans and lost a child on board the ship. And all of them ended up on the same place at a point in history that allowed me to be born. It is a miracle. And it makes me appreciate my life and the comfort it affords me to know about those who made it possible

I've had a past and don't want a phone call from some middle aged man or woman calling and saying, "Hello, Dad?" A DNA test might cause more crap than I'm willing to stir. That may sound selfish, but let those surprises arise after I'm dead and gone.

I’ve done both. Ancestry.com is 100% superior for genealogical purposes. Their DNA can actually connect your family tree onto other public trees and show you how you are related to genetic cousins with a visual “thru line”. I have found 23andme to be rather useless. They lean more towards your physical traits, which I already know from looking in the mirror.
I used my mom’s DNA to find her biological parents since her adoption records were sealed. Once I had enough hits on a common ancestor I could drill down and figure out her parents with the minimal info I did have. (They have been deceased for decades but she wanted to know her story).
I’m a total nerd with genealogy . The only issue I have with ancestry is the cost. If it is a hobby you wish to maintain, it is expensive to keep the account active. I do hop on and off sometimes if a new “hint” intrigues me. For the most part I can go back to 1600s in the colonies but once I get to England my name becomes too common to trust with any reliability.

Yes. It disproportionately affects people of color because they are the ones that dress like whores with no respect for self or others around them
re: Why would 200 House Dems vote against deporting people who commit welfare fraud?

If the Democrats meant what they say, that "illegals can't get welfare" then a law that deports those committing welfare fraud should be moot. Right? Right?

Income Taxes (accounting degree). Because nothing about income taxes is logical or makes sense. It was memorizing various laws and numbers that are outdated the very next year. I did more bond amortization calculations in my job as a public auditor than I did Income Taxes. My own income taxes are done using software that walks me through it.
