the only thing that got it to go away for me was stretching my foot before getting out of bed (or if sitting for a while) and taking advil several times a day. the stretching alone didnt do it for me. i had it for months with just stretching and resting it. the anti inflammatory made a huge difference.

you dont have to start off as a BR hand. most companies dont work that way anymore. as a rstb youre looking at 22-23 an hour for 40 hours a week, time and a half for 47 hours a week, a premium of around 14% of base salary, 150 dollars a month travel pay, full health, dental, vision, life, insurance. depending on which company youre working for you'll also get any where from 6 - 10% dollar for dollar 401k and also a pension plan. more and more contractors are getting rid of the pension plan and giving more to the 401k. This is working a 21/21 schedule. However, maersk works a 28/28 schedule even in the gulf.
theres some general info. obviously, company to company will vary slightly. no reason to be a BR hand.

its a type of academic scholarship. i remember when the journalists were claiming it was a way of cheating for the baseball team.
however, i dont understand how it would be different than a baseball player at any other university on an academic scholarship? i dont understand the ins and outs of the baseball scholly rules. it seems that a player getting tops at LSU, would be the same thing as a player at rice getting a regular academic scholly.
oh, and i dont know if i misread a previous post (forgive me if i did), but you dont have to go to LSU to get tops. its at any public university. it doesnt cover 100% obviously, but it does help quite a bit. especially for someone who isnt being covered by their parents.
