Going is great. Winning is different.

Maybe ask Texas fans how many appearances they would trade for two more Championships?

Doesn't it speak volumes that Texas has almost twice as many Tournament and CWS appearances and less hardware?

Legitimately love the metric though. Seeing USC in 3rd is nice.

I was most upset that the ESPN guys were gloating "this guy's only walked 8 all year." His 1st batter faced in the game should have been number 9.

I think the officials are hyper-sensitive to those that come close to the elbow pad lots seem to wear these days. Sometimes players use them cause it's not like there's the pain of wearing one. If it's a close call around the elbow pad and there's a knock of hard plastic, the coach should challenge if not called at the plate every time-especially this particular tournament.

I thought the guy calling balls and strikes was nails. Lots of good takes by LSU that would have 100% been strikes in any other game this tournament.

I really enjoyed him calling everything out. For balls, there was often "No." Or "That's outside."

The strike calls were even better - almost like he called em twice. "Yep". Or, "THAT'S a strike." And then followed by his yelling out the definitive "Hah!".

Having the mic up made it fun.

The HBP was reviewed. And he let Jay know that pretty quick out of the dugout. They've been making that particular call throughout all the games in Omaha. So, at least consistent. Players should know by now. Great challenge.

With a full count, you gotta just get out the way of a clear ball and not give then the chance to call what they did.

The 1B ump we've git history with. Frick that guy. If you're going to stand that close, you better be able to get your butt out of the way on a play like that. I'm glad we won because it would be pretty sickening to have that affect Kade's gem and have to have that been one of the turning points.
With a platinum sombrero in Game 1 it is hard to shake recency bias. Good contact today

I think we got a "Oh, F--- yes! OMG!" outta her on camera.

Pumped for the Joneses. Baseball be crazy. Hard work paid off.

Gaeckle pitched the game of his career. It seemed like we were behind in the count all night long. Lots of good takes though. I think they may come out ticked off and hit well Monday.
Tennessee is the worst everything about baseball today wrapped up in one team. Watch a highlight of Fischer's home run in the 4th and try and explain that away. If you can, try to watch the full at bat. He took a ball like he had tourette's. Act like you've been there before. What a d-bag.

Curiel tied it, Jones blasted the walk-off. But the PH rocket that almost decapitated the pitcher from a Senior with 1 AB all season got it going and made em pay for the errors.

Such an awesome ending.

1-2 count, 2 outs. Goodnight. I'm glad he K'ed looking the previous AB
They looked pretty jacked. Curiel didn't seem like a top draft pick, he looked like a Tiger. Time for a turnaround

Rally Ejection is the best thing of my 2025. That's greatness.

And that Tenner 3B ain't sleeping tonight.

What a treat for those who stuck it out. Gotta give them credit - they were loud when it didn't look so good.

Way to geaux, Tigers
Always felt there should only be one: either NIL or the Portal. The 2 together would be the end. Never thought that NIL would be the lesser of 2 evils.

And the infamous "shot-ski"! An old wooden ski with 4 holes cut out, perfect fit for 4 shot glasses. Got hammered as a team for Tigers and Saints games there. I think it came out for every score
