No joke, it was overhauled in part, to impress SEC matchups that were scheduled.
I've been going to UT games since 93/94. It was never that loud until the LSU game. One good thing that came from the loss, it made Longhorn Nation up its game.

From an outsiders perspective...I would disagree.
In a rebuilding year, there are some games that are must wins, and then there are others that are nice surprises. Bama is neither. It's a game where he's not expected to win, nor should he be.

A) Jimbo, filled with grief over his cheating wife, has bottled it all in, and actively kept it from the limelight. Therefore, during games, he's thinking about his wife screwing around, and fails to coach well.

On all our sports radio, sports columns, etc, they never call the coach or coordinators out. They just gush over them, and give excuses.
It's holding us back. Frankly, we need a culture change. I wish we had gotten Brian Kelly.

I watched a lot of Notre Dame over the years. Brian Kelly seems like a totally different person at LSU. He just seems happier.

Y'all were never on my radar until our 2019 matchup. What a fun game, brutal for me, but fun.
I decided to visit y'all with some buddies after Thanksgiving, to watch y'all beat up on the fAggies. We were wearing Burnt Orange, and it made for some fun conversations, lot's of free drinks and food, and some good new friends.
I was floored by the atmosphere of Baton Rouge, of Tiger Stadium, and what a season y'all were having.
One thing I have noticed is that y'all may have the chillest and most fun fanbase. I went to the Grove the year before and enjoyed it, thinking that that was as good as college football gets. Clearly I was wrong.
But now we will be in the same conference, and the flirtation I have had with LSU will need to be placed in the closet.
Just wanted to say hello, and cheers to a really great messageboard. Wish UT had one like it
