1st year vs 2nd year vs 4th year

I don't expect a 1st year player to be better than others with more experience. In his 2nd year I would expect him to compete, however, after BK comments the other day it seems WH felt he wouldn't get a fair shake.


Honestly, no one knows who will be better. JD is what he is, he should inorove in year 2 starting. Nuss should continue to improve as well being year 3 in college and year 2 in the same season.

People act like the QB who beat Burrow was a bum. Dude was a Heisman finalist and Burrow ended up in the best situation with playmaker around him. Worked out best for both parties, but better for LSU.



However, to the point the NIL and current transfer rules have made commitments comical from any 4* or 5* prospect

Who cares about NFL when we are discussing college?
Prior to Burrow, Russell was the best LSU QB to put on the uniform, did what he do in the NFL diminish his accomplishments at LSU? What about Dorsey? LF? Clayton?

Yes, Howard was the issue on those 90's LSU teams

Yes 2nd team All-American and 3rd team All-American along with 1st and 2nd team All-SEC certainly underachieving, All players should underachieve in that manner

At 15 Dylan Moses was coming to LSU as well
