It snowed the last time we went it was incredible. Great college town. The bars/restaurants are walkable from the stadium.

Noted. When we played at Ole Miss in either 2015 we stayed in Winona, MS. About an hour & 20 minute drive to Oxford.

I plan on going but it looks like that will be a hard ticket to get. Getting a hotel in/near Oxford is pretty tough too.

Hit up Chimes on Highland Rd. Friday night or after the game Saturday. Walk Ons on Burbank is walking distance from the stadium if you need somewhere to chill while traffic dies down as well. For bars I'd say Uncle Earls (big patio and plenty of tv's for the night games) and Zee Zee's later in the evening. They are across the street from each other.

As people have said before - temper your expectations on the game atmosphere, but the weather should be really nice. Enjoy!

I switched to Hulu Live + TV yesterday from YouTube TV. The interface isn't as smooth, but it's fine. I have all the channels from YT TV plus MLB Network now so that's nice.

Gotcha, we're knocking off schools we haven't been to yet and Oklahoma worked out nice on Thanksgiving weekend so many of us didn't have to take off work. We went to Vanderbilt a few weeks ago.

Heading to Norman Thanksgiving afternoon through Sunday for the LSU/Oklahoma game. Group of late 20's guys going. From what I can tell the downtown area looks walkable from the football stadium. Send any recs of places we need to hit (bars, restaurants, etc.) TIA!
