I know there's a bunch of posts about this already but in my opinion, it can't be stressed enough.

LSU fans are known for being extremely passionate, welcoming, and supportive of their Tigers, no matter the circumstances. Last night, a national audience from the SEC Network saw something else. Jennings starts, and plays poorly, out of the same looking offense that Mississippi State demolished a week ago. Fans were (and probably still are) frustrated, and for good reason. Things needed to change, both with quarterback play, and with the play calling. Brandon Harris came in, the offense opened up, and the Tigers looked like a different team. It was great.

But think about this. If you're a highly rated recruit who was invited to come see the Tigers beat up on an overmatched opponent, and you hear the starting QB being booed off the field, would you want to play here? Look at it from a kids perspective. Would you ever want to play in what is known as the best environment in college football, only to hear disgust from your fan base for a couple plays that don't go as planned?

As Tiger fans, we need to have these kids backs. Jennings had a bad game. It just wasn't his night. He knows it, the coaches know it and the fans know it. But that's never a reason to boo. There is no reason. And I know some people will say "the boos were for the play calling" but how is a player supposed to know the difference? They hear boos after a bad play, they're gonna assume it's their fault.

I love our team, and I'll support them no matter what. We can do better than that. It doesn't need to happen again.

We play the Alma Mater for the team, then Let Us Break Bread Together, we sing the Alma Mater, then we march out. If there's a bunch of people hanging around after, we might play an extra song or two.

Unless the "lyrics" change to something else, we won't be playing it.

If I had to guess, the letters went straight from a flatbed to the upper deck concourse.

Pretty sure that's what happened. They had man-lift thing up there moving something around.
Letters aren't up yet. They have a crane up there, should be up up later on today.
Going take pics after class today. I'll post them on here.
That's what those hangars are for. Look at the fourth pic, on the beam that goes across the upper deck.

Hangars for the letters that will be mounted on the upper deck

They should have finished awhile back. Have they even started installing the tiger stadium marquee on top of the stadium club?

I think they're actually mounting the letters in that center concrete column that spans the upper deck. I walked by today after class, and there are some sort of steel hangar things up there.

Exactly what I thought of too
Adding that new fence to rim the top, too.
Unless the students start "talking out the side of your neck", it won't be played.

ETA: This.

I can understand the distaste of it. However, America is indeed the home of the Tigers. And we love America for it. I do it every time. Its not out of disrespect, its still because of pride in our country.
