2600 Asteroids

Colecovision Smurfs(dont laugh....it rocked) and Zaxxon

Atari 5200 Pole Position and Soccer.

Nintendo Xcitebike and Super Mario 1 & 3

Sega Genesis NHLPA 93 and NHL 95. Had a Madden game as well I liked.

Nintendo 64 Mario Kart & some hockey game

Left to PC for several yrs....Baldurs Gate 1/2 and Everquest were most played

X Box KOTOR 1/2 and the EA FB games

X Box 360 The Mass Effect Series.

Seems strange I am still gaming after over 30 yrs of it. I like video games more these days than the stuff we had back in the 70s by far.

at Ohio...that's the team who beat you in March

Methinks you have me confused for someone that likes basketball. You are right though.....they did a number on Beilein's(sp) squad.

I can happily say though that I attended this past seasons edition of "The Game".

In all the yrs I attended Michigan-Flint part time, during the 90s, I wasnt aware we qualified for tickets until the final yr. I was working full time at GM Proving Grounds(a 35 minute 1 way commute), taking 9 cr hrs, and married with kids besides. Any actual "free time" I had was spent sleeping.

In retrospect, I should of grabbed them that yr simply to see the Bucks game. Would of been the 99 season I believe. Even if it was Tres in 01, that atmosphere was unlike any Michigan game I have ever been to.

Good thing my first, and probably only, chance to see it in person was a win. Disability pay allows me to see an Eastern Michigan match up live each yr. I dont draw as much as the ink your players are sporting actually cost.

Thus paying for a 4 ticket package, or worse season tickets, is out of the question. :wah:

This.

I have rooted for Michigan since the mid 70s, and no way I would ever stop. I now have adopted LSU n Arky as teams I appreciate, yet every team plays second fiddle to my original favorite.

I suppose attending another school would warrant the change, and since it isnt applicable in my situation, I still gotta call ya out.
Wow the 'Tards are out in force it seems.

First off to the individual comparing last yrs team to the one that gave up a metric shite ton of pts to Miss St...last yrs team actually tackled folks. If Sr 5* DT Will Campbell finally steps up to the plate, we may not hurt that much for the Dl losses, and with the exp gained for rest of D, this yrs team should be better on that side of ball.

D-Rob played the majority of last season with a staph infection on this hand. The QB that ended last season wasnt the same one that Meyer/Spielman were bitching about mid season.

Touisantt(sp) finally gave us quality RB production. We have lost Molk to draft, but continue to bring in very highly rated OL prospects. The last couple yrs we were a totally different O without Molk in lineup(he got hurt several times). Him getting hurt prior to kick off in bowl was yet another example. We were out of sync pretty much the entire night.

So on O we need to replace him at center. The rest of the squad has another yr in system.

With the major turnover Bama has experienced this off season, I would say we got a good shot since this is first game of season. I like our chances a lot better than I would if we were playing prior to the Ohio game to close season.
I wonder how that will work pertaining to the salary cap.

Would be nice for NO if they bring in a min wage guy to fill the roster slot, and can go ahead with slapping some extra money to a player/players due to extra cap space.

Being able to give Brees a bigger up front bonus would help with getting him signed. Unsure how much Vilma is making, but would think at least 3M a yr.

I work for a BIG company that does not have a union, and I see employees getting the shaft every day.

Having several family members that retired from GM, as hourly workers, I see both sides of the coin.

My uncle stayed drunk 7 days a week, to the tune of 70k per yr back in the mid 90s. He was on the clock 12 hrs a day, even though he hung out at the bar. He wasnt retired a month when the drinking finally took out his liver.

My mom never missed time in her 30 yrs save when my step dad passed. For several months she was totally out of it. She has been retired for 8 yrs or so now, and has all types of physical issues related to her time working the assembly line.

It is a shame for all the good Unions actually provide, they also help some to screw the system. If these guys are innocent, then I would hope the Union does indeed help them.

That said, I doubt they are so "innocent".
I dont listen to Cowherd, but from most things posted concerning him, I would call the guy an intentional shite stirrer.

That said, although he is once again plying his trade, the call to suspend these men is sound.

A poster brought up Suh....Suh didnt stand there, and lie to the Commish's face. The cover up generally gets ya as bad or worse than the actual crime.

I know this is killing die hard fans, but you guys have to take this one for the good of the league. I sure dont want my favorite players dealing with intentional injuries, and I hope you guys feel the same about guys like Brees, Ingram, etc.

Colston is just going to have to catch more TDs this yr.

i meant in the comics and movies that he's been in. i never saw robin use a staff in anything either. then again all i've ever seen was dick grayson's robin. and never used anything except for batman's gadgets.

IIRC he used them going all the way back to New Teen Titans in early 80s.

Started new game plus mode....this Batman is best comic game ever created.
Congratz on invite.

I havent played MMOs since Everquest(01 to 06). Only reason I will be playing this is due to BW & SW IP.

It's hard to keep up with all the preorder nonsense with this game. I can only assume that all it will be available at some point as DLC.

I am pretty sure this is the story. I got mine from Gamestop.

I get tired of the DLC exclusives. My oldest kid is wanting FF 13-2, and without pre-ordering from Amazon(which I never do), you miss out on some content and a character for group.

FF 13 was the first one I ever played, and although I did complete it, I was bored out of my mind many hrs. Still only have like half gamerscore.

I got a feeling Batman wont be that way.
I wasnt aware ND has an invitation to join B1G hockey without joining conference.

re: From the WVU Message Board

I saw this talked about on some WVU brds. Most folks were getting a laugh out of it.

The culture of WVU fits right in with the SEC. Football is a semi-religion there from what I have seen.

If WVU could get past the stereo-type of thrown trash cans, batteries, and piss balloons, they would be a perfect match IMO.

You will always get fans acting silly in any conference. You might see a fight or 2 break out. When the prospect of serious body injury is the expected outcome for attending a game, it takes it to another level.

I have seen their fans being very conscious about their image on the boards. Hopefully with a concerted effort, things will change.

If WVU had a better O line....

Posted by Aged Woverine on 9/23/11 at 2:09 pm
The game would be one of the best this season.

That said, I see no way they are going to keep Geno standing upright. LSU has too much depth, and can run full steam all night as the next guy is ready to sub in.

I wish Michigan had LSU's "depth problem" on D.

Good Luck to both teams, as I am hoping WVU makes folks really stand up and notice that they appear to be doing things the right way these days(both in FB and in academics).

Bringing in Clements & Luck, to do away with the Good Ole Boy Network, was much bigger than hiring Holgs. Although after Stew Ball, I doubt many fans would agree.
The one good thing is that if WVU gets in, SEC teams are gonna be forced to play in cold weather.
GL tonight guys....gonna catch the game on TV.

LSU - 1 huge can of whup arse
MSU - 1 case of "Can ya call me tomorrow after the hot rear action I gave up tonight?"

I have been to a Michigan-Ohio St game at the Big House and the noise was about the same as the average ULM/ULL/LA Tech game at Tiger Stadium.

That was due to 2 things.

1 - Sound used to escape from the Big House. Since the 250M renovation, that same sound is now reflected back.

2 - We have quite a few elderly and families w/ little kids that attend games normally. Figure a number of them sold/gave away their tickets tonight.

We get less jack-arses at our games, but the negative is folks tend to sit down, and not get rowdy.

I spent 600 this yr to pick up 2 sets of 4 game ticket packages that included the TUOS game.

I felt if we were going to break the streak, it would be this season. Even with tonights poor performance against Mike Floyd, I didnt see TUOS having a passing game like that today.

We will have to stop the run, or severely limit it. If we do, I got a great feeling about this yr.

If not, I threw away my money.

its not a bad game and I enjoyed it while I played, I just got tired of doing the same thing over and over again after 2.5 years.

That is the premise of all MMOs IMO. Played EQ from 01 till 06, and I cant stand them anymore. Basically chase the loot carrot, and deal with guild drama.

TOR will be the first I played since then, and only doing so to check out the story behind the classes.
It is made by the company that did Too Human(Silicon Knights). It wasnt a bad game, but wasnt great either.

I am getting it as I typically always grab the comic games. Especially Marvel Games.

You could probably wait, and pick it up for 20 bucks in a few months. Although I dont know if they will offer pre-order stuff as DLC.
TUOS looked pretty good, but Akron was terrible. Bauserman did a very nice job IMO. That TE has wheels/size/hands....scary!!!!

Would of liked to see how that D would do against a team able to score. Couldnt believe all the incomplete passes thrown.

Great game though to build confidence.
