I carry a glock 19x on a magnet under my dash on right side of steering wheel by my right knee. Also have this rack on head rest. .300blkout SBR with an eotech and suppressed. Second hole usually run a 6.5 grendel with a thermal and suppressed.

Are we passing on the exact pitch we need to swing at?
Posted by OleBallCoach on 3/9/26 at 4:28 pm
Are we passing on the exact pitch we need to swing at? I know and understand the philosophy of taking pitchers as deep as possible for pitch count and to see what should be a better pitch to hit. But this weekend really highlighted for me that 2 or 3 of the first pitches thrown to our batters were sometimes right down the middle at 84-87mph. We almost always looked to be in a "take" position/situation/stance. Have teams learned to take that gamble with us? That we are so vested in this philosphy we rarely walk up a full go at bat?

Pioneer 500 headache rack setups

Spam me those homemade headache rack options for the Honda Pioneer 500. Want something that I can slide machete in, hang limb clippers, hold some straps, tools and various outdoor gear maybe strap my climber too. Just want all that out of the back bed and organized somewhat on a headache rack system.

Your correct just taking the pop out of supersonic ammo does make it difficult to pinpoint at times. I'm just different, anonymity when I'm in the public woods is important to me. I take some sick precautions at times.....but then again. My wall is full of reasons

Yep have a .300bkout and a 6.5 grendel under thermals and we use subs all the time for hogs. no real issues under 150. But I'm also not looking to make shots and trail them, neck and head area. Decent penetration I'm not mad about it. Wife shoots a .308 close to our property line and I make her take subs when she hunts that stand not to alert the neighboring lease we are there. She has a 132" 8 on the wall from 2 years ago. High Shoulder popped the top of the left lung and lodged in lower spine. Didn't leave. I'm good with what I'm giving up when taking into consideration where I want to be and not want others to know on public. it's a specific case by case, setup type situation. Not about to try and take a unethical shot with subs. I'm aware of where the bullet needs to be to kill the animal.

If you only knew how far and what direction I walk away from a vehicle on public it spin your head loose. I'm calculated.

Just grabbed a box of the ELD-X to play with this weekend. Looks like ill have some time Sunday to shoot. Also found a guy that handloads and also makes sub-sonic rounds. He is sending me 5 rounds of each to plink before I order. Excited because I was wanting some subs for public land. Most shots are under 150yds there and with a suppressor and subs I can stay off anyone's radar when its packed with people.

i replied with the method i used on this gun. I have done it different with other metals. Some manufacturers suggest it, some don't. Most cold hammered barrels don't need it. Stepdad taught me the different methods as a kid, Kinda stuck with it over the years. I noticed your real meticulous distance shooters and long range guys all have some form of it with their own twist to seasoning a barrel. To each their own.

shot 1 clean barrel repeat 5 times, shoot 3 clean repeat twice. Shoot 5 clean. I def got some copper fouling out the first 2 shot cleanings you could feel it catch on the patch, after that it was smooth sailing.finished with 24 shots as fast as I could then a complete cool down to ambient, clean and starting my dial it in. Now I'm on cold shot tweaking 1 shot every afternoon and clean barrel. Once i get it right at 100 ill start building my dope.

One of the biggest things i see that has stayed strangely quiet is the amount of Asian's being deported and we are hearing nothing about it. Houston, MY, Nawlins and Minn they are the second most behind latinos.... not a word, no conflict, silence

Thanks, and not really interested in 6.5prc specs from everyone. Not a comparable round. Totally different animal. It's like saying comparing ammo between a .270 and a 300 win

Putting in a sensory area for those to hear the broadcast in a quiet sound proof area with head phones as well.

Few questions:
What Ammo are you finding available and where? Manufacturer and grain.
What has been the best groupings you've seen at 100yds and with which of those ammos?
What site are you finding the best selection by manufacturer and grain?
I bought 3 boxes of Remington 175 gr coreloks (ONLY THING I COULD FIND QUICK) and tempered/seasoned the barrel with 40 quick rounds Sunday morning and let it cool back down.
Took the other box and dialed it in at 100 and stretched it to 500 on a 8" plate by the end of the day. Really not a fan of the round but it served its purpose for the initial break in and setup. Now without going to custom hand loads (i will if needed) what's everyone using and think?

Duke #2 and some 550's couple old bridgers. also have some dog proof foothold raccon traps looks like a small cylinder. they some coon catchers. Use different baits. I like a couple cavens lure. That yodel dog pretty good and i got some fliming x5. both work well. Had some cryptic but ran out. Beavers i use dke 110 and 330's i got 2 of each. break the damn loose in a couple places and set them on the edge of upstream flow. gets em pretty consistently.

The F-22's are not leaving with a Strike or bomb payload on the undercarriage and wings. If they were headed to conflict they would be loaded down to the max. That's SOP. Even if they were headed to a carrier or base to pre stage they would carry a minimal defense load. I see two exterior fuel tanks for distance under them on all the videos of them leaving RAF.

He is 53 and they just moved his wife and daughter to a temp place in NJ(more affordable) so his daughter could go to NYU on a scholarship. They are from Mississippi. He just had an idea it would work and people would still want to move around during the storm.

We've taken 63 total off of 1600 acres since Christmas. Coyotes, bobcats, foxes, coons, opossums and beavers. hope to hit 100 by end of March then ill pull traps.. Game cams on each trap location has been key.

I feel Letlow has the silent majority. I know Fleming isn't well liked because he has been so far hard right. Majority of Louisiana conservatives are middle of the road conservative and not hard far right. ITs like 61%. Then you got your liberals that also have conservative values that she caters too.. I feel she gets the W into the runoff and walks away with it with right leaning liberals in the end. I feel Fleming will not appease enough right leaning liberals to take it. Reason I say this is Liberals in our district in general have out passes conservatives in voter turnout at about 59-41% over the last two election cycles. With an overall turnout at less than 22% of registered voters. Its a numbers situation and she is playing the long game i feel.

No, they missed there 48-72 hour window to get her back alive. She was dead by no later than the 3rd day if not sooner.
The 6 mill ransom was legit IF proof of life could be sent. But when they couldn't produce proof of life and The family was ready to pay an additional 4 mill for a total of 10 mill with proof of life on the 8th day...that was the end of the story.
I feel since the morning of the 4th day the investigation they went into a body recovery situation. May never happen without public help or an accidental stumble across grave or body, body parts. Hate to say it but that's what I truly believe as I watched it roll out and the verbiage that was used by investigators, law enforcement and the family.
