Read carefully, headline is misleading... jury assigned 2% blame to the kid on trial... so they didn't get $6.1M... more like $122k.
What is this BS with StubHub holding your money until after the event now!?!?
Posted by LStateU on 8/31/22 at 1:10 pm
I just sold tickets to the LSU/Southern game on Stubhub (been selling tickets I can't use there for years) and was just informed by StubHub that I wouldn't receive my money until 8 days AFTER the game! If the game is cancelled or postponed, I don't get paid at all! Fuc that... and warning to anyone that wasn't yet aware.

The story would definitely be about Alabama's amazing and utterly shocking fall from grace.

And, at that point, it became recognizable to urban socialist Democrats that if you governed badly enough, if you refused to fill potholes or police the streets or solve traffic problems or provide functional public education, the middle-class voters who would consider voting Republican and therefore could put your political power at threat would just … leave.
And when they left, what remained would be a thin crust of rich people relatively easy to govern because they provide their own public services in the form of private school attendance for their children, private security for their neighborhoods, and so forth.
Oh, and a mass of urban poor who would also be easy to govern — at least, in the manner urban socialists like to govern. The votes of the poor can be bought cheaply because they don’t know any better. Tear down statues, offer “universal basic income” or free needles or midnight basketball, and you can fleece the poor into believing that you care. They don’t really expect anything better and they wouldn’t even know what that looks like.
Down the road, when the federal subsidies run dry and the country is fucht, the state's will have to get rid of all these moron politicians like Teedy and take total control of their major cities and hire competent executive types to fix them. Eventually, as the middle class leaves New Orleans, the rest of the state will start to feel the pain as the city collapses and it's economy fails and will be forced to do something. Its coming...

And replace her with who, exactly?
Anything, anyone... no one. Just get her the hell out.

Maybe the only time I've felt ok with a loss... Davis is a solid dude, and all of those players on the field last night gave their all in representing the Tigers.

Saban wasnt good in the NFL either. Who was really coaching those lsu and Alabama teams?
That would be our luck... Brady ends up at Bama when he realizes the NFL doesn't work for him.

3-1, heading into New Mexico State. We'll beat Auburn, because we're not supposed to. We'll beat Florida, because we're supposed to. And we'll beat Kentucky at home.
6-1 heading into the showdown vs. Ole Miss. Relax Tiger Fans. We'll be fine.
I feel so much better now.
Still getting OBJ stats wrong...

How are they still getting this stat wrong? Here, ESPN again wrongly states that OBJ is 2nd in the SEC because they aren't including the missed field goal return, YET they mention the field goal return in the same sentence. This article is only hours old.
"Beckham, who is second in the SEC with 251.5 all-purpose yards per game, has already touched the ball as a rusher, receiver, punt returner and kicker returner -- plus he returned a missed UAB field goal 100 yards for a touchdown last weekend."
Probably shouldn't bother me so much, but it does because this implies that 1st in the SEC is Jones from Bama. Even if his 256 was in only one game, he is still 2nd right now to OBJ.

Why would he? Miles deserves every dollar of that raise and Alleva knows it... that's why Alleva is AD and rantards are rantards. LSU is an elite powerhouse under Les Miles, and if I were Alleva, I would be willing to spend millions to keep the machinery in place to keep things that way.
