Serna towards the end of the season was playing great! Had some great at bats. Hoping to get out pitching back where it needs to be. That was the hardest part of the season to me. Just could not get it going on the mound.

I’m a huge fan of college baseball. Have been for a long time. It probably came off wrong. I think the games being played are fantastic. Some really good ball being played. I just wish our boys were in the thick of it.

Agreed. I think Pop Houston is also a great fit for LK’s offense. He has such a quick release and moves extremely well in and out of the pocket.
He gave him no protection, no balance on offensive play-calling and execution and poor game planning. Sucks he got hurt, but there was only so much that even a healthy Nuss could do with a shitty o line.

Sam played incredibly well yesterday, considering he was in the final group with Rory. Quietly went about his business and shot a 68. Had some incredible par saves. Impressive round.
With him being in the second to last group today, some of the pressure might be taken off and free him up more.
Would love to see Sam put that green jacket on!

Agreed. He’s built perfectly for the tackle position. He made some good plays this year as well. A refreshed approach to coaching could do him a LOT of good.
Yeah, I get it. Some of these moves are forced and some are not. It will be very interesting to see where it all shakes out.
This one sucks! Some of these guys have to be getting some pretty bad advice. KP in Lane’s offense will make him plenty of money.

Agreed. His time spent in the league with the 49’ers after his LSU tenure should help pay some dividends for sure.

It’s the right thing for him to do right now. No need to rush. He keeps producing top level defenses YOY, he’ll be just fine.

It’s early in the process for ‘27. Give CLK and his team some time to build it. If we come out on fire next season offensively, it will work itself out.

As long as we have Marucci and his people we will always have these types of metrics at a high level.
A lot of these S&C coaches are really good. Like all other coaches, it’s all about how they communicate with these kids and get them to buy in. It’s the coach they spend the most time with all year.

I love seeing Saban getting heated over this. None of those idiots understand why CLK took the job. Even after they mentioned the recruiting piece. So many coaching changes happening this season, but LSU is the biggest talking point. These fricking people… :violin: :geauxtigers:
