re: Lost the OL bookends

It will be interesting to see how they handle the oline for next year. Can’t forget about the talent we have waiting in the wings either. Weston Davis and T Adams should be next up. What they do with the interior will make or break this line imho.
MT was never a consolation prize. Please put some respect on that man’s name… :geauxtigers:
Her first step quickness is off the charts. And her stroke is so silky smooth. One of the best I’ve seen in the modern game.
Agreed. Plus we tend to forget about Weston Davis and Tyree Adams from last year’s class as well. The OLine is in great shape for the future. We just need the center position to step up big time.

re: Ping irons

I have a set of bps, my first set of ping irons ever. I tested the i230’s and liked them but not more than my zx7’s I had at the time. Tested the bps last summer and they took me by surprise. Feel fantastic and produced more ball speed than anticipated and were super consistent on spin retention. Time will tell if they stay in the bag, but they really snook up on me.

Could not agree more. This team looks really athletic. Long and rangy and can shoot. And I’m loving the extra pass on offensive possessions. Opens up so many more looks.
I would think this would be his best move if he makes one. Would potentially set him up for a big time job if it all goes well.
This! We have to limit their run game first and foremost. Make Weigman beat you. If he does, tip your hat. But if they start to dictate the pace of the game with a balanced rushing attack, it will be tough.

Regardless, this game will be tight until the end.
This is a really good pick up. We need a proper PG who can run and distribute at a high level. Most evals tend to label him a good floor general that needs to tighten up his shot. With this coaching staff I feel like he will be able to develop a solid mid range jumper. Could be a high floor longer term player that develops. I like it!
This is a match up that should have Mason Taylor as a major part of the game plan. His athleticism is really hard to match in the middle of the field. Plus, he can be used as an extension of the run game in a ball control passing game. He can take a lot of pressure off of Nuss and Lacy.

re: STOP RUNNING THE BALL!

Exactly. We need to break tendencies. This run on first down for zero yards is putting way too much pressure on DC.
Not having Hill is hurting us bad. However, imagine this offense if we ever decide to break tendencies and not run on every 1st down for zero yards…

I love this offense, but we need to mix it up on first down more.

re: Will Chris Hilton play tonight??

If he can go he definitely should. Needs to get the speed of the game back along with some reps to trust his instincts.

I never understood that take. His arm is looking live tonight! Ball comes out quick too!

re: Nuss through first 4 games

Nuss has been outstanding! If anyone is watching him operate and the rhythm of the game, he is in complete control of this offense. It’s impressive for a first year starter. Is he perfect, no. No one is. But his feel for anticipation is incredible!

Yeah, he’s still not being discussed enough. Excited to see this recruiting class at LSU. Really could be a program defining class.

Any idea how PW III did?

Agreed. He’s plenty fast! Just needs to allow things to happen. Patience allows good vision. He’s pressing a little too much at the moment.

He had some really good runs against Wisconsin, especially his TD run which he showed good vision. Once he puts it together he’s going to be special.
