This is the perfect moment to once again push to release the sexual harassment slush fund names.
re: Moar Masters: Speculation that this was the last year for the gnome figure
Posted by theCrusher on 4/14/26 at 12:19 pm to weagle1999
I was there last year and the morning line was 3.5 hours long. A volunteer working the line told us it was all for the gnomes and suggested coming back after lunch. We did, and the line was only about 15 minutes.
They’re also cracking down on bulk buying next year. The couple in front of us grabbed around 30 hats, 20 polos, and a pile of other merch. I assume they were going to flip them.
I’m with you on the ‘F-you money’ point. It feels like the members’ goal is to keep the tournament accessible for everyday golf fans, not let it morph into a Super Bowl-style event dominated by corporate money and sky-high ticket prices. Shutting down the secondary ticket market seems like part of that effort.

re: Why movie theaters are failing. Yes, Hollywood is making mostly trash, but that's not all.

We don’t go anymore for two reasons, and both come down to enforcement.
1. People spend the entire movie talking, texting, playing games, and scrolling on their phones with the sound on.
2. Kids are running around the theater.
Those two things completely ruin the experience, and there doesn’t seem to be any effort to fix either of them. They're selling an experience and it's lost on them.

Can she go after the sexual harassment settlements by congress at the same time?

Cassidy is bad because he's reactive. What conservative cause has he taken the lead on and championed?

a few suggestions.
Sports - play together. Tennis, Golf and ping pong. Ping pong is an easy one and because it's at your house it fits into schedules. Put on some good music and you can have some insightful conversations. We still play ping pong expect everyone is old enough to drink beer. The whole family plays and he usually invites his friends over (you want to get to know who he hangs out with).
Outdoors - my son and I really bonded over fishing and duck hunting. Find a good guide and take him fishing for half a day.
Lastly my son and I have a great time at the WWII museum in nola.

Typical low IQ leftist not understanding numbers because numbers are hard.
The question should be... why is the median wealth of a black household only $20,000?

So many people cheat this system in St Tammany Parish
If you really want to get frustrated, this isn’t a secret. The school board and administration are fully aware of it. I was told directly, “We receive federal funding, about 10% of the budget, for every student, so we let them in.”
Meanwhile, I’m paying taxes to support these schools, and there’s a constant push to raise or extend those taxes. The people gaming the system don’t even live in the district, so the increased demand for these schools doesn’t benefit my property value at all.
If someone wants to avoid the higher tax rates in in the district or St. Tammany Parish because they're cheap and a leech, then they should send their kids to the schools in their own district instead of taking advantage of a system they don’t contribute to.

Scott Bissent stated Medicaid fraud is between 10 and 20% of the total budget if not higher.
For some reason, there's not a real effort to curb these people. I wonder how big the flow is back to politicians and their families?

The deception will never end. The average refund is lower because less tax was taken from the people.

Until the Judges and DAs are held liable when the Trans-tescile does this again, nothing will happen.
FWIW - If a man raped a 14 girl, he'd get 30 years in jail and the inmates would kill him.

re: Is Louisiana the next State to get caught up in fraud allegations?
Posted by theCrusher on 3/24/26 at 3:59 pm to Red Stick Rambler
A close friend of mine retired from the FBI after serving in the New Orleans field office, where he worked on the public corruption squad. He once told me that in his view, “95% of elected and appointed officials in the state are breaking the law. They’re careful, though—they know we only have five years to catch them, build a case, and get the Attorney General to file charges. That makes it incredibly difficult.”
His suggestion was straightforward: extend the statute of limitations for elected and appointed officials from five years to fifteen.
Our criminals are far more sophisticated.

Can we get regular direct flights to the major cities on east coast, west coast and Europe?
