You in sports admin? I ask because I am considering this for a master's. I graduated in finance last year and would love to work in a collegiate AD, obviously with the ultimate goal of getting on at an SEC school.

Stringfellow only does football, so it is really up to the school and the baseball program. But the way Boss had it set up was it was going that the Olympics could go any company the revenues were going to be Nike.

Could definitely go that way too. Dude just sounded like it was already a done deal.

The head equipment manager guy Stringfellow talked about this very subject last year in my sports marketing class. LSU is a "Nike" school, but the baseball team is still under an old contract with russell athletics for the uni's.

The contract will expire either this coming year or the next, and then the team WILL be wearing Nike uni's. In the new contract with Nike, the team will have the option to use Nike bats and other equip, but if the technology is still not up to par, the team will have the option to still use easton or whatever brand until the Nike bats are legit.
