What state? In Louisiana, you vest in 5 years in TRSL and can draw at age 60 (or 62 depending on exactly when you started).

USCCA is both liability coverage and coverage for defense costs. USCCA has a 2 million liability limit and that is one of the main reasons I went with it. You are correct that there are several options that do not provide liability coverage though.

I did extensive research and USCCA provided the best coverage. If you Google "concealed carry insurance", there are several articles comparing the policies. USCCA had the highest liability limits.
