The stated goals of Operation Epic Fury, Day 1:
— End Iran's nuclear program
— Destroy their missile arsenal
— Regime change from within
— Defund the proxies
Final score: 0 for 4.
The war objectives shifted 4-5 times in 4 days,
moving the goalposts isn't strategy. It's a tell.
The bottom line?: ~$200M/day. 40,000 troops.
Every expert said it was a bad idea, and sure enough they were right.
170 little girls died when a US missile struck a girls' school in Minab.
There has been no serious accounting for this.
There wont be.
Iran demanded reparations. The US called them an "international investment fund." The spin machine is doing a lot of heavy lifting here
$ 24B in frozen assets up front. Then a $300B "reconstruction fund."
Just For context: Trump spent years calling the Obama deal a historic giveaway. That one unlocked ~$100-150B. Total.
Vance confirmed the $300B on CBS.
Trump posted "no money will be exchanged, until further notice."
Same deal. Same morning. Two different answers.
This is fine we'll see Friday or it will fall apart.
Iran exits with fissile material intact. Proxy networks intact. Strait leverage proven. $300B coming.
We exit with 15 dead Americans, a scorched reputation, and a VP playing cover for a Pres that undermines him at every turn all the while hobnobbing with elites at Prez Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho"s fight night Extravaganza.
None of this was necessary in January.
The regime wasn't stronger. The nuclear threat wasn't greater. We chose this.
Every single consequence that followed is on us..
Poorly reasoned and embarrassing.

Maybe we are taking that ‘Wide Receiver U’ moniker a little too literally.

The Ole Miss offense is our offense going forward. I see this as a huge advertisement for our staff going forward.
We can recruit this result even now, it's our staff.

They have a 30% chance of being right though. So pretty good odds for a grift.
