You don't think it are but it be
Lol ... This happens to me all the time, so I will readily concede I'm not the one to turn to for pop culture.
That's fair to some extent, but the SEC is easily the deepest and most competitive conference, and depending on the schedule we draw some years are really a bitch.
Didn't see American Pie, and don't think I've ever seen or heard of her before.
That's some nice looking alien technology
You can sum the media's problems up in ten words:

They hate conservatives so much, they can't do their jobs.
I have a Marine Mal and same thing ... most dogs are posturing, Mals are not.
Never interact with law enforcement unless absolutely necessary. This tirade was utterly unnecessary and a really dumb idea.
True dat. Our guy sprayed that power in all directions at State U. Great natural hitter.

Doesn't the WAR stat account for era smoothing, and many other nuanced factors? Ruth's is the highest ever and three times Ohtani's.

The happenstance that he pitches when healthy, but then - wait for it - takes off his glove and becomes the DH, really doesn't move the needle considering he hits .281 career and has won 40 games in 9 years on the mound.

I like to watch him too but the best ever claim is wildly overstated IMO.

Have a good one.

I saw it the same way. Umps gotta call that.
He had seven decisions his first two years, then 11 the next. He pitched full time for the next two, earning 15 and 10 wins, respectively.

In the '25 season you referenced, you prove my point, as he went 1-1 on the mound.

He has one decision this year coming back again, and in 50 ABs is hitting.265/3/8.

Put it all together, O has a lifetime average of .281 (sixty points less than Ruth), and has just forty wins in nine years.

Ruth also has MLB's highest WAR, triple that of O.

All right, I'm out, you guys do not have any convincing arguments in my opinion. Have a good weekend.

Same with Ohtani. He last pitched regularly in '23, but only has three pitching decisions since then. Not coincidentally, that marked the beginning of his three MVPs seasons hitting.

Ruth won twenty+ games three times with an ERA in that stretch between 1.78 and 2.01, so yes, he *was* an ace, and he has the highest career slugging percentage of all time. He was the first to hit 50 plus (59) in a year where no one else had more than around 20.

That said, I like Ohtani and enjoy watching him play.

That's fair, so what about Barry Bonds? Career .298 with like 760 and seven MVPs. The most feared hitter in the league for years on end.

With all due respect, you need to get thee to a baseball encyclopedia. Babe Ruth was career .342 with 714 hitting & 94-46 2.28 with 107 CGs pitching.
