Does anyone know if they have chosen a general contractor? I know the site just got approved, but with an "aggressive timeline" per the article I would think they have already chosen or at lease short-listed some GCs.

I know the META site further north already has GCs lined up.
There were some big arse skeeters out this evening in Prairieville. I’m not talking about crane flies/mosquito hawks either (plenty of those, too)…. Just a ton of fat arse skeeters!

re: Bot 6th ESPN strike zone graphics

This was of the most inconsistent strike zones I’ve ever seen called…... with that said this graphic is just the play by play data recorded by an ESPN stat nerd showing the general location of the pitch. If the pitch is called a ball and located high/right in the zone, he’s clicking the top right box. A strike thrown high in the zone he’s clicking in between the center box and top/center box.
is this front supposed to stall out? Forecast for BR area is thunderstorms thursday-saturday. Does this system stall or is there another one right behind it?

Man if you have little kids that don’t quite understand Santa & the “magic” yet, don’t buy that frickin elf. It will more than likely be how your kids figure out that Santa doesn’t exist. There’s so many rules & everybody has different ones. The elf moves every night, the elf only moves if you’re bad and has to leave to tell Santa, some families have 1 elf, some have 1 per kid, why tf is there a “classroom elf”?,

I agree with everything….. with that said, we have an elf for each kid and the elves go see Santa when they are good. That’s why they are in a different spot in the morning. If they are bad the elves stay in same spot.
For what it’s worth FanDuel has playoff games listed for betting as follows…

Georgia (-6.5) vs Ohio St.
Michigan (-9.5) vs TCU

I went for a long weekend about 3 weeks ago for a buddies bachelor party trip. Awesome course with some really beautiful views (#5 & 17 are amazing). Like others have said, its a pretty forgiving course if the wind is light. Fairways are like carpet & greens were in good shape. The greens were soft and not as fast as I figured they would be, but I assume they weren't cutting them short due to it being so hot/dry and having to water greens so much. I would definitely recommend.

I believe they shut down for maintenance on 5/31 and are expected to be closed at least through June 11th. This is what we were told when we tried to book a trip the weekend of June 11th.

edit... had dates wrong

Souled Out

They should change their name to "Sold Out".... Only half of the band showed up to my niece's wedding in December. No one knew they weren't going to be able to play until the reception was starting. Luckily they had speakers and were at least able to play music from a playlist, but its still not what they were hired to do. Manager is refusing to refund and is trying to get my brother to book them for another event at no charge. It's complete BS.
I’m in. This story sounds just as reliable as any other story I’ve seen/heard.

- I’ve had a 40ft birdie put go in a water hazard. It was a par 3, proceeded to make an 8 on the hole.

- had never shot under par and was 3 under going into 18..... triple bogey. Total CHOKE!

- I’ve never made a hole in one but my brother who is horrible at golf has made a hole in one and an Albatross...... and he reminds me of it every time we play.

What on earth were y’all talking about for over 2 minutes? He wasn’t pissed about your $5 tip, he was pissed you wouldn’t shut the frick up.

The edge bar! I wonder if COVID claimed the “winner” that wears the bandana and puts one on his Coors Light bottle too. Also, has that obnoxious chirping call. Good grief.

Bird! that dude is nuts

L’auberge - Phase 3 changes?

How does the move to phase 3 affect the casino? Will the Edge bar be open? Will they have live music?
