If you point out the fact Indians were here before our dear founding fathers were and pushed off the land + brought diseases with them during the times of Columbus - they try to justify slavery and genocide as okay for the times? ??

Libraries are obsolete. Librarians are overpaid. Having a degree to shuffle books around is just as pointless as whatever the gender studies degree of the day is. Sorry your degree on the Dewey decimal system was pointless.
I see you haven't read 1984, patriot.
This is why progs and the far right suck. And we're screwed as a country!

Have the Library Association or whomever come out hard against the sicko trannies, kick them the frick out of libraries, and MAGA Patriots will come back to libraries in droves.
Why? Isn't our values as patriots to uphold people from all walks of life? Sorry this isn't Saudi Arabia.
Just because you don't understand and fear mental illness, its not their job to educate you.

Are there tranny groomer books in your library ? If so why would I take my kids? They are in my local library
Nobody is forcing you to interact with them because you're afraid of gay and chicks with dicks.
We have a monthly history book club which is full of proud conservative people. They haven't become gay.

Just because one fracking library decided to have some drag queer woman come in as a guest to read a book to a kid. No actual drag show happened either.
I became a librarian during the Ronald Reagan years after visiting my first visit to the national archives in DC. I swore an oath to uphold the pursue of intellectual freedom as told in the constitution and bill of rights. I did not want our country to become like North Korea or USSR where one line of thought is accepted left-wing or right-wing. :usa:
Like, Libraries that are supported by their state government are crucial in promoting open, free access to information. The First Amendment and intellectual freedom are protected by libraries, according to the Library Bill of Rights, which was established by the American Library Association in 1948.
Public librarians and state and municipal government bodies establish and carry out library policy as representatives of the state in accordance with the Tenth Amendment's acknowledgement of state authority to safeguard the welfare, health, and morals of its population.
Choosing what materials to add to the collection, creating rules for using the library's Internet, and safeguarding patron privacy are all part of setting library policy.
Now, idiots in congress at a local level here in Georgia are threatening to cut our pay in half for no reason?? Part time jobs are going unfilled because politics.
People would rather watch stupid tik tok videos than get a book from a library. Is this what you want our society to become?? :banghead:

Lots of outdoorsy stuff to do like hiking, water rafting and just enjoying nature. I can see why people love renting cabins out here to get away from the city.
Not alot of city things to do as that's more in Portland, ME (also v prog)

Like, does this mean bye-bye club hockey for schools like UGA or Florida?? I can't imagine the cost of UCLA volleyball being forced to play at USC and then travel the next day to Maryland. I mean Boston University gutted their football team in 1997 and it's never been the same there. (despite being a hockey powerhouse)
I was hoping one day the SEC would expand hockey to maybe D2 or D3 - but that's never gonna happen now, huh?

Denmark, Maine to be exact. A friend of mine lives out in the boonies with his pops and dog. I happened to notice a lot of LSU tiger and bama plates up there at the "spot" for shooting pool, eating BBQ and camping. When did this be a trend?? I'm not trying to gate keep or anything. I never thought Maine would be full of southern transplants. :usa:
