Joe DeLoach - 1988 Olympic gold medalist in the 200m. Saw him in HS when he played WR for Bay City.
Have been there in a boat. Pictographs are very impressive. Lake is 55 feet low so accessing the park via the Rio Grande won't be a good option right now. If youre going to go, now is the right time of the year temperature wise.

You won't be able to access Cameron as both directions (counterclockwise to Bross or clockwise towards Democrat) cross private land.
Democrat, Lincoln, and Bross are all closed as access to them lies on private land (ultimately a liability issue). Haven't done Sherman yet, but its considered one of the "easier" 14ers in the state.
You might consider Bierstadt - the trailhead is at the top of Guanella Pass which is about an hour from Breck. Bierstadt is one of the easier 14ers by 14ers standards.

Bandera is a less commercialized (and cooler) version of Fredericksburg . If you want to hike, Hill Country State Natural Area is about 15 minutes from Bandera - some of the best terrain in the Texas Hill Country.

Hard times ahead. Some can see some things about our future while most only scoff. Once reality hits for the scoffers, they won't have any ability to be introspective - they will only look to blame others for the state they find themselves in.

You can add TCU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech to that list - all relatively close to his family in North Texas as well. Agree with Damone that the number may be higher than $250K.
