Sounds like something was set up pretty and finally deteriorated!

And yet Franchione, Dubose, & Shula
Fran and Shula each had a 10 win seasons even with scholarship restrictions and DuBose won an SEC Title!
Gene Stallings never won anywhere else. He won a national title and 80% of his games at Alabama!
Bill Curry averaged 9 wins a season! He was under .500 everywhere else!
Nick Saban averaged 8-9 wins a season at LSU and 6-7 at Michigan State! Hasn't won less than 10 at Alabama in 15 years!
Biggest overachiever program in America!

That isn't true. I think the poster is also a Georgia fan.

still had a top 11 rushing O (#2 in the country).
Tennessee put up big yardage rushing on a lot of bad run defenses but had trouble against good run defenses.

You didn’t watch much football if you think Smith was RB1. He started out that way but was quickly passed up by Johnson/Sanders and even AJ Green
Arkansas had a nice run game but it was spearheaded by their QB. None of their backs were elite backs. Those 3 backs averaged 3.9 yards per attempt against Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Ms st, Tx AM and LSU! That's ok but not real great! Trelon Smith averaged 4.6 yards per attempt in those games against the best defenses.
Feel free to post your own list!

Its splitting hairs. Almost every SEC program minus 2 or 3 have excellent RB squads. It comes down to OL, offense type
Very good points

Bama, Arkansas, Tenner & UGA are Tier 1. The rest are Tier nobody gives a frick.
Auburns running backs are as good as anybody in the sec and certainly better than tennessee

What a stupid take.
It is an honest take and they will get what they deserve when they finish the season this weekend getting swept. They are 2-11 in their last 13 sec games and will be 2-14 in their last 16 sec games after Arkansas sweeps them. It has been an embarrassment and their only saving grace will be a game that we were poised to lose being called because of lightning on sunday.

So you leave off last years power 5 leader in rushing?
Their leading back is their QB who isnt a RB! I mentioned that a couple of times! And they lost their co rb1 in Smith! Still very good! Arkansas was only number 5 in the SEC in yards per game and number 8 in the SEC in yards per rush in SEC play.

Alabama doesn't deserve to go to Hoover after their last month of embarrassing play

Arkansas led the P5 in rushing last year, there’s no reason to think they can’t do it again.
They were only six in the SEC in average per rush but they were good! Jefferson very good!

Tier 1
Alabama - Gibbs/Mcclellan/Sanders
Auburn - Bigsby/Hunter
Georgia - McIntosh/Milton
Tier 2
A&M - Achane/tbd
Ole Miss - Evans/tbd
Kentucky - Rodriguez/Smoke
Tier 3
Arkansas - Sanders/Johnson
Tennessee - Small/Wright
LSU - Emery/Bradford/Goodwin
Florida has some interesting possibilities with Bowman and Lingard. They were both highly recrutied. Emery might breakout for LSU this year. Arkansas' best running back might be their qb so their listing is a bit deceiving!

Great running back but Texas doesn't play in the SEC

Alabama should have a pretty good room, sure. So should Georgia and Kentucky. A&M and Ole Miss will be good with Achane and Evans. Auburn has other issues but running back isnt one of them with Bigsby and Hunter.
Lots of deep rooms!
