what gluten free flour do you use? a coconut flour? almond flour?

My 2 cents... if the liquid is based on meat renderings and it has been thickened in any way (reduction or thickening agent such as corn starch or flour) then my mamma (who is not cajun. she mexican) called it a gravy.

If it was just the meat drippings, she called it jus.

And we have never made Roux at my house so I cant weigh in on when a sauce becomes a roux, but my best guess based on living here for 30 years and working in the food industry for the last decade... is that roux is a sauce made with fat and flour. So you all are all right.

But the OP's friend is stupid. I would happily eat duck cooked by not me and not be critical. I would also bring drinks to share with the class.

Is it going to be called Brasa? I passed it on Old Metairie Rd. this weekend and wondered what it was going to be.

I am assuming they failed to realize how large and organized the group is... Only indication that tipped Negan's hand is the group that had Maggie and Carol after they thought they finished off the Saviors/the guy who Rick killed. I think them overcoming that obstacle is really where Rick's group's false sense of security was solidified.

I bought that purple rice grown here in LA. I am also going to enjoy some lentil soup. :nana:

My momma is Mexican. She used to make us menudo when we were sick. I just love soups when I have head colds. It clears the sinus pressure and relives some pressure.
