It was 23-21 with 14 minutes left in the 3rd qtr. After that LSU scored 3 more TDs and shut down Nichols.

I don't get the SC hype, who have they played? Two terrible offenses and they struggled against ODU and won by 4. LSU struggled against Nichols, but still won by 3 touchdowns. I just don't get the hype. "They have a top 10 defense" again who have they played.

431 to Arizona, Arizona's jayden threw for 342 and rushed for 44. LSUs jayden will probably do similar, just won't throw 4 interceptions.
re: Your best player did not play. On the road against a Top 10 team.. LSU will be fine..

I was saying during the first half, when Wingo was getting so much pressure that if Wingo and smith are both on the field it's going to be tough for opposing teams. Wingo was great the first half he just couldn't sustain.

It probably had to go through a process before it could be put in place, some kind of investigation or meeting with team leaders or some thing like that

I don’t think this take much time to install either. Not to mention the LED lights are brighter, use less energy and they are very customizable. Would love to see LSU get these installed before the bama game bc of the by week.
So you want Woodward to call up the led company and say he needs led lights for a 100,000 + capacity stadium, and expect them to have that? In 3 weeks? And get it installed?

At the end of the day he's still at LSU, they are still competing just because daniels got most of the reps with the 1s in the first scrimmage means nothing, they are rotating just like they did in spring. Kelly and denbrock have both said they will mold the offense around the QB that understands the playbook. They've also said that they are still working on daniels footwork and accuracy and nuss has said himself that he's a gunslinger and that means he can be wreckless with the ball, saw it in the spring game, multiple times he decided to throw into tight coverage downfield instead of to a wide open reciver underneath that would have made a nice gain. Kelly and Denbrock are looking for a guy that's gonna get the ball to the playmakers and let them do what they do best.

Did you even watch the game? The defense forced 5 fumbles, 3 of which we recovered. 2 of those recoveries led to touchdowns on the very next play and 1 led to a field goal. That's 17 points that Myles doesn't have without his defense giving him the ball in the red zone
They also let guys walk into the endzone untouched with no one within 25 yards of them

No way he was making it home from first on that hit even if was moving on the pitch.

It's going to be a common thing now.
Espn learned during covid it was cheaper to just have the announcers call the game remotely.

Everyone on the field wears one, it's tells them pitch selections and where to shift

So you'll also see that the defense only played man and only showed 2 different fronts.
re: What’s your QB depth chart?

I've said this before and either this thread or another thread the defense only played man coverage with 2 different fronts. Nuss Did to the defense the defense what Mississippi state Mississippi state did to LSU in 2020. He looks good but he also made Some bad reads, Like the deep throw to Jenkins, He tried to squeeze the ball to Jenkins when he had nabors Wide open Underneath.
How will he respond when the defense switches to a zone a zone.

Especially against a defense that only played man coverage with two different fronts

If you go back and watch the spring game the defense played man the entire time with two different fronts, all nuss did was do what miss st did to LSU in 2020.
And he made some bad reads too, on the play where jaray was injured, he had a wide open Malik underneath.
Kelly and denbrock have both said multiple times they want a qb that's gonna get the ball to the playmakers and let them be the runner.

What were the points per turnover during that span?
I know against mizzou they scored every time there was a turnover. Brennan did not lose those games, a historically bad defense did

With out seeing the all 22 angle on plays its hard to assess the qb play especially daniels, on plays where he ran they obviously weren't drawn up that way, so did he go through his progressions and not see anybody open so he ran, did he make one read and run? How many of those runs would have been sacks if the dline was actually trying to hit the qb.
I'm also curious to see if op thinks the throw at the 31 min mark of the full spring game was a catch.

This competition is going to come down to 3 things come summer/fall:
Film room- who's sitting in the film room and pointing out things they see from opposing defenses or what they did wrong or right.
Playbook-whos got a better understanding of the playbook
Practice: who's preforming best in practice
Can't take too much away from the spring game because we don't know what plays were being called and what defenses they were playing against the 1st team defense wasn't out there the whole game, so it could be, and I'm not saying it was, that nuss was going against 2nd team defense or pieces of 1st and 2nd team and that's why he looked better.

Daniels, a hot and cold passer, is light for an SEC caliber QB at 6-3, 185 pounds. But is the fastest of the four Tigers' QBs and is a huge RPO threat. In 29 games at Arizona State, he threw for 6,025 yards, 32 TDs and 13 interceptions and rushed for 1,258 yards and 13 TDs.
Works for rivals and doesn't know the difference between RPO and read option.?????
re: With LSU's WR Corp, Brennan might be the better option.

Blame that on the coaches, they ran the same play twice with only one timeout left
