Dread, I say
September used to be so exciting, and maybe it will be again. But lately, I start watching every game with a sense of dread. This team doesn't have "it". I guess I still hope the arrival of Correa will ignite that fire, but so far it hasn't done so.

would of rather paid Parsons that money than pay Prescot that money

And have who at QB? Man, Micah is WAY more expendable than Dak in this NFL.

Not sure about this trade yet (but so far, im fine with it). But you cant drag a QB into the conversation.

Hey, maybe they can package some of thise firsts into a top 5 next year in a great QB class? Assuming they don't get too 5 all on their own, of course

Yes. Most of the group are Saints/LSU fans. The draw of MN is the stadium and the chance to watch Burrow, Chase, and Jefferson. Buffalo draw is the Saints and Niagra Falls. I would think Minneapolis would have a better downtown/restaurant scene, but not sure what else there is. Kinda leaning Buffalo because I can't think of another time where I'd be up that way to see Niagra Falls

Minneapolis or Buffalo?

My group of friends has a guy's weekend each fall centered around a football game. This year we have narrowed it down to two games of interest in September:

Cincinnati at Minnesota
Saints @ Buffalo

Which to choose? Anything cool to do in either place?

They really do deserve better, but the Davis Family is the OG poster child of meddlesome ownership.

Jerruh took this mantle from Al long ago and is leaps and bounds ahead of Mark Davis. Davis still sucks, though. I suspect one day Stephen Jones will take over and the current Raiders are what Cowboys fans have to look forward to. :yack:

Eta: leaps and bounds ahead at being shitty

Ah, missed the date restriction, thx

Trading Cooper was a salary dump. Those trades have to be made from time to time and he was coming off a mediocre year.

Yeah, that wasn't the thing that came to my mind. First thing I thought of was drafting Taco Effing Charlton over TJ Watt. :casty:

I'm curious to what Eli's record was against the Cowboys

I'm sure the Giants won some and lost some. All I'm saying is that they typiclly didn't win those games because of Eli. He just didnt scare you.

He'll probably get in due to name/Super Bowls, but all I know is that I (as a Dallas fan) never feared my team playing Eli Manning.
