A few makeups games this week, and then we can expect final rankings?
Dragons over the Jays tonight for the final game of the year.
Interestingly enough, I'm dealing with kind of a similar situation. A friend of mine killed himself a couple weeks back and his wife/parents have not mentioned anything about it anywhere. How long do you wait before starting to discuss it publicly/on social media to at least begin getting the word out? Also bear in mind, I don't really know anyone in his family. Was a high school buddy.

I know you'll all think I'm a moron but I'm out of ideas here..

Originally had Att with a few wifi extenders throughout the house but it didn't work worth a shite. Ended up with ATT and 5 Google wifi Puck routers and it managed to do fairly well.

Sometime around Google's purchase of Nest, shite got weird. It all migrated to the Google Home framework and everything began running like complete arse.

Today we have Cox Gigablast with 2 of their little pod extenders. I literally have a smart TV in my kids room about 5 feet from the modem that constantly falls off. It's maddening.

Ive come to the conclusion that this house needs a complete networking overhaul. I guess my question is - is there anybody here in town (BR) that does that?

Problem at this point is that BRPD seems to be intentionally playing “blind referee” so they can act like there isn’t as much crime as there is.

After Alton, I wouldn’t be doing shite. The city hung these dudes out to dry. If I’m young enough, I’m either looking for another job or at least, moving to EBRSO. If I’m old enough, ride it out until retirement.
Honestly I can’t be too critical. How hard would you be working to solve a shooting by a bunch of dirtbags at a hood arse Circle K. I side with the BRPD. I “wouldn’t see” anything either.

an unrelated double shooting at the Circle K on College Dr. BRPD officers responded for a shots fired call but said they could not find any evidence of a shooting.

EBRSO said they did find the scene at the Circle K.
BRPD responded back to the Circle K and the two shooting victims were already taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Hopefully the deputies made sure to point out to the city cops of their minor mistake.
Didn’t know if some of y’all had an extra or what not. Thanks in advance.

Did you son spend a lot of his earlier years in daycare? Or did he stay home with mom?

He was in mother's day out from about 2-3yo before everything shut down.
I would never pay a WR after the one contract they'd get with me. Saints should have used the Bill Belichick strategy and as soon as a player starts chirping, trade them.

Can I forward your post to my wife?

She’s convinced our 4 year old daughter has some kind of immunodeficiency because she keeps getting sick. Started getting sick at the end of August and has been sick pretty much since. I’m like, “Didn’t preschool start at the end of August?”

It is frustrating taking so many days off of work though. I empathize, OP. Truly.

I have 2 older boys who also got sick a lot during these days, but admittingly it's been a little while since so my memories of them being sick tends to be a little hazy. Still, I don't think it was this much.

It leaves you with just kind of a weird feeling. I'm wondering if maybe my pediatrician just doesn't know what they're doing.

We're not Bama or Gator fans, bruh. And how dare you accuse us of being such.

5 - just start kgarten? They get everything there. Immune system starts to build up. Ours were little Typhoid Marys for k-1st grade.

lol, yeah I hear that. And the whole lockdown during what would have been a lot of exposure to other kids at daycare, etc likely stifled a good bit of the natural immunities he'd have built up.

Doesn’t really mean anything specific.

Neutrophils and lymphocytes are simply cells which fight infections.

Really basic view is neutrophils are for bacteria and lymphocytes are for viruses. Very basic though. REALLY basic.

Your kid is fighting something off.

There are immunologic issues that result in problems with repeat infections, but it is hard to say at that age and this time of year.

Your kid is 5 and around other 5 year olds.

He will probably keep getting infections, especially this time of year.

Ah. Well he did just get the flu but that was about 2 weeks ago. It's just frustrating that after a round of antibiotics and a week finally being fever-free, it's back to the doctor again.

A friend of ours mentioned something called neutropenia or being neutropenic but it kinda sounds like bunk science to me. Is that something you have ever heard of?

That's me, big pimpin. Who dis?

That is terrifying

They're doctors but they're people too, baw.

It’s your kids health and you are posting to an internet message board? Wtf is wrong with you.

Well it's not like that's all we're doing. Like I said, I'm waiting for the doctor to call but I couldn't resist asking here. I know for a fact there's a shitload of pediatricians and pediatric surgeons and nurses that post here.
Just got some lab work that shows everything in the normal range except "neutrophils Abs" (8.4x10E3/uL - HIGH) and "lymphocytes Abs" (1.0x10E3/uL - LOW). Any idea what that could mean? He keeps getting colds, fevers, etc and we finally brought him to an allergist to see if it's seasonal allergies or perhaps something worse.

Waiting on the doc to call us to discuss but they just posted his panels on MyChart. I immediately thought I'd just ask the OTMD's.

Any medical ideas on what could be wrong?

Also in B4 "probably AIDS" and any other smarmy responses. Also he never got any covid vax but is up to date on everything else.

Also just saw there was a shootout this morning in Hundred Oaks.

My friends, it is time to leave this place.

My company has begun to speak about expanding into other markets due to NOLA and BR becoming a cesspool. While it may be labeled as an expansion, I believe its an eventual total relocation.

We gotta get the frick out of here.
Still looking. I can meet you on campus (if it's relatively accessible) and/or at your residence if you haven't yet left for the game.

thx.
