I am in no way an apologist for anything that happens in this city. I just don't agree with people who don't live here or are from here bashing the city without having their facts straight. You make everything seem as is this is Beruit or something. Of course isolated incidents happen from time-to-time in the French Quarter. The mugging and death of the doctor who was on a bachelor party was unfortunate. However most of the crime and murders that occur in this city are isloated to high-crime areas where drug traffic is widespread. The shooting you speak in great detail of that occured on the corner of Bourbon and Canal was by some thugs who got into a heated exchange with another group of people. If you stay in the parts of this city, much like your city, where one should be you will be fine.
I love how the idiot who lives in Miami has something to say about a dangerous city. Yeah, there is no crime in Miami. Get your facts straight about New Orleans before you spout off. Last time I checked your city's homicide detectives were starts of an A&E reality show...
Going to Miami for Dolphins game. Anyone know a place to watch the LSU/Auburn game Saturday in the Cocunut Grove area with some Tigah fans?

Good one!
Will be in Miami area (Cocunut Grove) for the Saints/Miami game next weekend. Where is a good place to watch the LSU/Auburn game?
Tickets to do with the game. We love ATL, just not for the chicken bowl. Not the same unles it is the SECCG.
I think there is a lot of people here that need to get laid. Bottom line is it was cold as ever-livin hell and the team was playing like arse..... Just cause 70,000 of us had better things to do doe not make us any less of a fan than anyone else
I wonder if Candy Edwards will be in the welcome home party?
I agree, we had a great time and the fans were super classy. Almost too classy!! The worst razzing we got was some dude yelled "your gonna lose" in our face walking to the game. Nobody talked about my momma which momentarily made me forget I was at a SEC football game.

All college stadium cheers are gay, especially that punk arse couscous one they do every now and again. The only one LSU did that was worth a hoot was the a-hole chant after the band played the rag.

The problem is your priorities are all out of wack. LSU should ALWAYS come before the Saints!
I agree, especially since I was refugeed for the App State game. My arse misses my seats in Tiger Stadium.
We are staying in the capital area with no car, which of these places is the most convenient for us.
Thanks for the info!
