re: School zone lights flashing…Holiday, spring break or Snow day….

In Texas there are too many of these units for DOT to turn them off. Also, there are many different versions of school calendars, 4 or 5 day weeks. Way to many variables. We do make sure to turn in a request to be off during summer break and those are handled easily enough.
If DOT would allow schools to control them it would be easy to do but DOT controls them. No problem with me since I would not want to be the one to do it.

Last year's tally was 16. 5 hunters and all taken from a stand. This year, we did not see a single pig whether on camera or while hunting. I know they will be back but it greatly improved the deer killing. Just under 150 acres, East Texas.
re: How to get your kid into another school within the same ISD

It would be nice to have OP weigh in on comments. Most advice seems to be referencing a move to another district and I take the prompt as a move to a different campus within the same district.

I assume you are asking about a transfer within the same ISD and not looking to join neighboring ISDs. If so there are provisions in law that help. Particularly the parts referencing bullying and academic underperformance of the school your student is at.
TLDR incoming:
Reasons for Transfer: Common reasons include, but are not limited to, bullying, safety concerns, specialized programs (magnet/charter), child care, or employment of the parent.
Public Education Grant (PEG) Program: If your child attends a school rated as low-performing by the TEA, you have the right to request a transfer to another campus within the district.
Transportation: Parents are usually responsible for transporting students who attend a school on a transfer. If your student(s) are moving due to one of bullying, safety, etc...you can usually have transportation approved.

Regarding item 3, you promised you wouldn't tell anyone about her and my good news...we were planning to tell her folks this weekend.

He does not lack speed flying around the loop in Lufkin. Saw him pulled over there a bit ago.

Just looking for a set to throw in a stand and not worry about. Best combination of clarity, power, and magnification. The eyes are getting old. Not gonna glass more than about 300 yards. Less than 300$
Many thanks.

I am close enough to Wharton that I can guarantee you no one there is making 800+ thousand.

As an administrator at a school that is not failing kids...1000 percent this. I am content to make far less than my peers in urban areas not to have to del with the BS they do.

Not entirely clear cut. Left all hardwood and cedar.

Decent seats or do I keep looking?
Seems like the row A is inconsequential since it is a suite?

I have no idea what they expect to happen when they begin to open in very small towns. There isn't a lot of fancy coffee drinkers in places like Corrigan Texas as an example.
