So yeah its perfectly equal.

Add up the # of back to backs

Knicks = 13

Thunder = 13

Spurs = 13

76ers = 13

Pelicans = 16

Mathematical facts that the NBA give advantages to certain teams

Islam still, to this day, forces people to convert.

There are lots of Christian churches in Egypt today. I have visited them.

Yall are the one who want Muslims to get out of the US

What happened 2000 ago has no bearing on today.

This post started with the discussion about the Islamic invasion of Egypt in 600ad and I referenced the Christians in 400ad - back up and say this to the guy starting the discussion

they threw in a few Christian type beliefs mixed with pagan rituals.

You mean like the ritualistic practice of eating human flesh and drinking blood?

Correct - I have the exact same skills as everyone on this site.

I use the exact same logic when i read the bible as when i read the NYT.

Who wrote this? Who influenced them? What was the motivation?

I see the influence of the Jesus story from previous religious text of that era and how 2000 years of using the narrative for wealth and control. That's why the text of the bible has been rewritten thousands of times by various religious groups who cannot agree on what it says.

Some say Jesus was 2 some say 5 some say we went to India, some say he went to England, most agree there is no definitive recording of his childhood at all.

People who hammer the specifics of the text as FACT use that as a scapegoat to avoid deep theological discussion.

Absolutely supported by history.

The Byzantines who inherited the Roman Empire and forced Christianity on Egypt were cruel and violent. This text describes the fate of heretics who failed to convert to Christianity.

Christ was 5 years old or younger

Read any Human Development book. 90% of environmental influence is biologically imprinted in the first 5 years of a human life, The brain is like a sponge soaking knowledge that shapes identity. Childhood like we know it now was not a thing. In Jesus' time, kids actually started working as soon as they could walk.

Ones traditions and religions are highly shaped during these first 5 critical years. Think about how children absorb the Santa Claus story and totally believe that he comes down the chimney and leaves gifts despite common logic. The mass population was illiterate in Jesus' era and so oral narratives were simple. Something a child would absorb. They may have tried to raise him Jewish, but he absorbed everything he heard on the street and in the temples where you had to go to trade in the market and conduct business.

So now explain the many miracles He performed, and also His resurrection.

Pharoh employed magicians in their inner court to construct illusions that would demonstrate power. Turning water into wine or beer was an actual magic trick performed at Egyptian festivals.

But you could also examine the Osirus text, which also tells the story of the son of god being killed and resurrected. Osirus was known as 'the healer' part man, part deity who could magically cure with the touch of his hand. The Egyptians believed that as truth for 3000 years until the onward Christian soldiers cut the heads off anyone who didn't believe in Jesus. Those left believed whatever they were told, just to stay alive.

"Yes, i believe Jesus did miracles, not Osirus, please, don't behead me. Take this bag of gold and leave my daughter alone, i beg you" - stuff like that.

Reformation has been used effectively throughout history by multiple religious groups. It forces a belief on a resistant population. The historic narrative is changed to something wonderful like flowers in the street, open arms, and generations later people accept it as truth.

Essentially that is why you believe Jesus did miracles and not Osiris.
