I have experienced every fan base in the NFL - nothing like this.

When i arrived, the guy sitting next to me was seriously taking up his seat and our two seats. Once we squeezed in, he unfurls this giant handmade bedsheet banner (probably from his hotel) that the people behind him helped him hold. I couldn't even make out what it said, but it looked like it was made by a 3 year old. Luckily, he disappears after Q1 talking about his knees hurt. But the crowd behind us got so drunk and RAAAADDERRRRSSS the entire time. Spilling beer on us so many times i lost count. One guy got so drunk he fell down the stairs trying to get to the restroom. Then he just laid on the stairs for like 10m - no security. After the Saints fumble recovery, they threw beer bottles hitting me in the head not once but twice. They claimed to not know anything, but my wife speaks Spanish and overheard them insulting me and laughing about it. We were planning on going out to eat after the game, but her hair was soaking wet with beer and i had a headache. F' Raider Fans.

12 Angry Men was pretty “woke” for its time.

It wasn’t preachy or particularly in-your-face, but its message is unmistakable: the writers were deeply critical of a system in which an all-white, all-male jury could send a poor minority teenager to the electric chair for killing his abusive father—while prejudice, class assumptions, anger, and indifference influenced how the jurors viewed the evidence.

The original television play aired in 1954, the same year as the McCarthy hearings and Brown v. Board of Education. There are obvious 'socialist' undertones re: class imbalance, but the writers are clever in keeping it subversive. The film arrived in 1957, in the middle of an America divided on segregation and civil rights.

The film was a box office failure. Empty theatres opening night and pulled off screens a week later.

What makes the film especially interesting today is how the conversation has changed. Today some viewers might be angered by the film's lack of women or minorities represented on the jury.

I paid some craigslist lady $200 for two pretty good seats the week before the game. I remember meeting her in the parking lot of Lakeside Mall and she confessed that she was secretly selling her husbands tickets and then going to buy some shoes.

Edit - I still have my stub - but check out the $25 ticket for the 100 level posted below. So I spent $200 for two $12 tickets in the lower 600s and that's why the lady stole her husbands tickets.

Best $200 i ever spent - and I'll bet she got divorced or worse.
