I have an 10+ yr small Sthil that won’t die but I hate cranking it just to knock down a few weeds.

So I bought a Ryobi battery weedeater that runs on the 18v one+ batteries that I already have. For $60 (tool only) it works great. Quick to get out and just press button and go. I will still use gas one when I do all the yard.

that's how i am... i have an echo 225 or 255 and i have an echo edger. when i have a big job like going around my pond or something heavy, i'll use that. keep them in my shed.

but for by my house, the ego is great. i keep it in my garage hung up next to my ego blower and two wall mounted battery chargers. great for a quick weekly more frequent trim without having to go out back, fuel up, dela with if it won't start today, etc....

Thats my plan, I just mow over em as they grow, shaving as I go. I cant understand why someone plants the things, but I have 6 of em to contend with from the previous owner. All planted in terrible spots.

this will destroy your mower, ask me how i know....

William Devane will sell you the shite out of some gold too!!!!
rent a grinder and grind them down. gotta do it once every 5 years
how long is a workout supposed to take? i've only started lifting again in the past 6 months. it generally takes me an hour to work 2 muscle groups, 3 or 4 exercises x sets of 3. I don't think it's rushed or slow. i'm not looking to live in the gym but i'm also not trying to get out of there...

people are going to tout the expensive ones but i have a pair of CAP ones from academy. they were less than $200 total (i think it was a sale) for 2ea. 5#-55#. only regret is i didn't get the ones that went up to 75#.

i've used them almost daily for 4 months and have zero complaints. i also don't throw them around like an animal.

lol at people shitting on aldi. can park close, get in and out quick, not have to deal with people, and cheap AF. yes, if i want specialty meats or some random ingredient, i have to go to rouse or somewhere else. but for 95% of my groceries, aldi is it...

plus i LOVE that they have no shame in stealing another product's image and selling it as their own.
Is the reason these states purchase outside energy because they've outlawed producing their own due to environmental stuff? if so, frickem.
gotcha, then i would go with what the poster above said and add a 24" grade beam all the way around. if the rest of the outdoor paving isn't supported by grade beams, also consider installing an expansion joint between the non-structural concrete and the fireplace foundation in case they settle at different rates.
why are you not getting an engineer to stamp your foundation plans?

at minimum, you want a footer into the existing compacted ground around the perimeter...
