Referenced Lane at LSU bringing in “pro players”. It was just one line.
Didn’t Sark do the same thing? And Arkansas?

They got some that think Pete might be secretly working for Lane. They even brought up bringing in Dan Mullins

Surely they won’t penalize us on 9/11

I can’t even believe the SEC did this too us this week. They should be trying to unite and heal not threatening a punishment. Mr Stanley should apologize for his behavior. It is really a shame the SEC stooped to this low.

The SEC did not really have a problem with attending a mini camp or a try out for the 22 guys. They had a problem with guys signing UDFA contracts. There is a difference if you wash the wax out of your ears.
But it was okay for other schools to do it.
Did Tulane get expelled?

quote:
Tulane has bolstered its defensive line against Duke by adding Kam Hamilton, an experienced fifth-year player who started 22 games for the Green Wave before going undrafted in April. He was auto-enrolled in the draft because he did not have any college eligibility left, participated in workouts with the Saints and Arizona Cardinals but never signing an NFL contract. The NCAA recently adopted a rule change granted playing five years of college eligibility. Although players from the freshman class of 2022 were not grandfathered in, Hamilton received an injunction in court that allows him to play and specifies that Tulane will not be penalized if he is ruled ineligible down the road. The American Conference issued a statement last week that participating in an NFL tryout would not trigger a punishment.
