I read this exact same post on their boards. I figured this guy had to be trolling. Either that, or has a double digit IQ.
Here's an article from Dec 26th.
Rabalais: Analysts like Jorge Munoz big part of LSU football's ascendancy the past two seasons

One reason Munoz was hired was because of his knowledge of the RPO offence. He's essentially Joe Burrow's QB coach and they are very close. There's a reason Burrow had him sit in the front row during the Heisman award show. He's also best friends with Jake Delhomme.

He also said Tua and Trevor have elite skill sets but he doesn't see any elite skill in Joe Burrow. Nick's stupidity is mind blowing.

The narrative and perception builds over time, and the narrative matters.
CFB used to be a pure beauty contest, with the NC determined only by a national discussion. So you had schools with lots of alumni in positions to drive the narrative winning lots of polls - Notre Dame, USC, Michigan.
The SEC would constantly complain about beating each other up and not being able to go undefeated, but it fell on deaf ears.
[quote]Once the NC started being determined on the field, even with a one game playoff, the SEC has started dominating and proving that even a 1 or 2 loss SEC champ is better than a pretty undefeated team from a weak conference.
Although we have the final result determined on the field now, who gets a chance to play is still a narrative driven process, and it's important that SEC teams play well outside the conference so that future teams will get consideration even with losses.

I don't agree with everything he says in this article, but he makes a very strong point here.

For me, if the man behind the curtain at ESPN calls out LSU vs. Bama on Sunday, the college football season is over, and LSU is your national champion. I’m not obligated to vote for the winner of the “invite only” one-game of a crappy BCS system, like the “coaches” are in the “Coaches" Poll.
Why would I vote Bama over LSU if they win? In that scenario the teams are 1-1, with LSU 13-1 to Bama’s 12-1, the Tigers will have won both the SEC and SEC West crowns, will have more wins than Bama, more wins against ranked opponents by far, more wins against teams with winning records, more wins against top three opponents, more wins against conference champions (Oregon and WVU to Bama’s zero), AND WILL HAVE BEATEN THE TIDE IN THEIR OWN STADIUM.
Tell me again why Bama would be the champion?
