Ya it is really baffling - I know he was in a situation there where he was basically playing with house money - but there is another throw he made to Mason Taylor in the 4th on a 3rd down - put it right over shoulder of a lineback who never turned around right where taylor could get it - very Burrow-esque - I havent seen Nuss do that 1x this whole season - something is off in 2025.

Myabe Kelly is just hellbent on zero-risk let hte defense carry the team, but kelly had to take his medicine then yesterday if this is the gameplan :|
not the same zip, not the same pocket presence, not helped by the playcalling, just not the same qb

35 yard ROCKET wrist flick "the gun by Garret Nussmeier" to Malik for TD

60 yard bomb to Malik

33 yard TD to Jaray Jenkins

Q4 highlights - some amazing passes and tight spots

294 passing yards, two touchdowns and an interception in one half against a STRONG georgia D... not just a fluke game

Look at the INT yesterday vs. ole miss - clean pocket, pass wobbles, camera easily follows the ball, Nuss acts surprised - this is what we've been seeing all year.

If Nuss can't sling it like 2022, then he immediately is a liability - one dimensional with no downfield threat - then you have to go to MVB. Otherwise we are just hoping for opposing defenses to make a busted plan - even our TD yesterday was a busted play... should have been an INT by Tre-dez green broke it up and happened into Nic Andersons arms.
Just ask them… “so the two Hawaiian kids, were they related or was that just coincidence?”

High humidity in the house

Posted by ThrowiTToTerrance on 5/31/25 at 11:07 am
2200 sq ft, one story ranch, 1970s built on a crawl space, wooded lot with afternoon sun on the house, otherwise shade.

2 year old roof, 2 year old HVAC Trane 4TTR4036N1 3ton, ridge vents running the full length of the roof, 15 soffit vents (6"x16") all replaced in last year and made sure air flow is good no insulation blockage, bathroom fans venting out thru roof vents.

struggling with 60-68% humidity even in early summer - no issues in winter or spring - stays in the 30-40%

Before replacing roof, we had a fan blowing air out - but with the ridge vents we didnt keep it - have had the hvac guy out and hes been zero help - we asked him about a whole home humidifier but he said that was terrible approach - I have noticed the attic is pretty humid with the wet bulb measurment (much more humid than the outside) and i keep the ridge vents clean of debris/leaves.

should i try more soffit vents? get a new HVAC guy out? any recommendations?

Sheesh this is one of the dumbest comments I’ve ever seen on this board… what a dumb@ss
You can probably fly into GSP for not that big of a difference
Fully agree - that just makes no sense and glad the staff went another direction as painful as it was timing wise
That’s fair they definitely put their programs in position to win one - just saying paying a #1 or #2 or even top 5 qb BIG$$$ doesn’t guarantee a natty - in this new era I would say to pay someone more money than an nfl rookie contract means I am looking for a guaranteed return - but by historic data - nothing is guaranteed and these guys really are over priced to a degree
Correct Caleb Williams didn’t stick with his original team tho was the point there
Interesting trend:

2020 #1 Bryce (back up when they won a natty - never won one as starter) #2 DJ U (multiple transfers - bust) #3 CJ Stroud (no nattys)

2021 #1 Ewers, #2 Caleb Williams, #3 Sam Huard (no nattys - all transferred before success - huard has been hurt)

2022 #1 Drew Allar (key starter in playoff but good qb or cupcake schedule?), #2Cade klubinekc and #3 Connor Wegmann, (both have been benched mid game for poor performances and starting role highly questioned - wegmann to portal)

2023 #1 arch (back up to portal transfer), #2 Nico I (key starter - in playoff), #3 Dante Moore (already transferred) #4 Jackson Arnold (has been benched for poor performance - hit the portal) and #5 Malachi Nelson (back up to portal transfer)

-for big programs needing a qb seems like going for proven commodities in portal or developing your 4 star is much safer bet than paying some more than an nfl rookie contract whose never played a down of college football, - I guess if you have endless cash it doesn't matter - but the 5star signee is no guaranteed natty
Yes that’s also a good point - was never worth 5MM+

12.5MM vs recent top rated QBs

maybe this kid is a generational talent once in a lifetime? But get over the sour grapes he’s not a guaranteed title by any means:

2020 #1 Bryce (back up when they won a natty - never won one as starter) #2 DJ U (multiple transfers - bust) #3 CJ Stroud (no nattys)

2021 #1 Ewers, #2 Caleb Williams, #3 Sam Huard (no nattys - all transferred before success)

2022 #1 Drew Allar (good qb or cupcake schedule?), #2Cade klubinekc and #3 Connor Wegmann, ( both have been benched mid game for poor performances and starting role highly questioned)

2023 #1 arch (back up to portal transfers), #2 Nico I (key starter), #3 Dante Moore (already transferred) #4 Jackson Arnold (has been benched for poor performance) and #5 Malachi Nelson (back up to portal transfer)

- to be determined whether to pay someone that much money who never played a down yet is worth it vs going for proven commodities in portal or developing your guy - I guess if you have endless cash it doesn't matter - for LSU thought it’s not so bad just hurts cause the month we’ve had - the ONLY true hit is do you lose recruiting momentum - got to keep the linemen and corners

TL:DR 12.5MM for 17 year oldis insane especially if you look at what’s happened to the last few top guys- 12.5MM better guarantee you a natty -statistically it doesn’t
Do yourself a huge favor - fly in and out of GSP, stay in Greenville, do the 90 min drive to Cola - you will have a much better time
SEC + FSU converted 60 of 124 3rd down attempts (avg per game: 6.67 out of 13.77) - Worth noting of the 64 stops on 3rd down in those games... 12 of them went on to be 4th down conversions good for a 1st. (so 52 stops in 9 games, or ~6 stops per game)

Also, THE DAGGER, 15 times this year we had those opponents in 3rd and 10+ situations but they converted resulting in 13 TDs and 1 FG.

The 2023 NCAA average 3rd down conversion (counting all 133 teams in only FBS schools vs FBS school games) is 38.9%

2023 LSU offense was converting 3rd downs this year at 53.27% (only Georgia was better).

We all saw it, but even statistically, this years defense made all other offenses look like they were on caliber with the LSU offense (featuring a heisman qb, a biletnikoff winner, a biletnikoff finalist, a seasoned o-line, and 4 to 5 deep rb bench).

To me, coaches have to help this. You can't just say we don't have all the players to execute the scheme. Good for you to recognize that, then make the adjustments and find something that works. Almost 50% conversion, bad angles, missed tackles - that is coachable.

Yes might as well have rewatched the Florida state game… it was the exact same out of place, gassed in second half, too much pressure on offense, no adjustments game… and this was 8 games later in the season - that’s the scariest thing for me when I think about the future if things stay “as is”
