Yeah you’d be correct that we did, how many of those did he recruit to LSU? And before you say Tommy Tanks we know he was already a proven player from NC State; we gave him a nice NIL package and who was sold on being the missing piece for a national championship ready roster.

If he’s consistently bringing in Top 5 classes and this is his 4th year shouldn’t only hosting 1 year be a massive concern about his coaching???

We’ve only hosted 1 year since Jay took over mainly due to Paul Skenes. I’ll be interested to see everyone’s tone if shite hits the fan the back half of the schedule and we somehow don’t host again.

Out hitting them 5-2, they have 2 errors and we are still losing because we strike out over 50% of the time and can’t hit with RISP.

Both can be true. Strike 3 was a worse pitch than ball 3 the pitch before.

I honestly do not understand if we just absolutely suck at developing pitching talent, or actually recruiting well rounded pitchers. Half of our staff can not consistently throw strikes and miss our spots by a whole plate width at times.

I will be interested to see what Vitello does once he loses his assistants. Somehow they’ve had basically the same damn staff at UT since he started.

Dude they are 1-5 in SEC play. If you want a chance to host super regionals these are series you have to win. Especially when they are at home.
