re: “Mental health” is stupid

I used to think mental health was a bunch of pussies who couldn't deal with life until my sister son was born.

This dude (my nephew) is a straight up nut, he's disabled with schizophrenia and if he doesn't take his medication will frick some shite up.

Ok, I’m not diminishing his obvious issues, and agree that would be a terrible thing to have to deal with. I’m simply calling Naomi Osaka full of shite. And that people are beginning to use the excuse “mental health” more and more because it makes one untouchable. There’s mental health and then there’s mental health.

Michael Jordan took two years off in his prime because of mental health issues. Flat quit his job to take up a childhood hobby because he was going through some things.

He stopped playing because he was physically beaten up and needed a break from the game. And he also genuinely wanted to attempt something differently with his career. He also never cited mental health as his lie.

Her circumstances are that she didn’t like people calling her out for not doing her job.

There is a difference between true mental illness, and just mental weakness. And it's become an excuse to be weak and be able to avoid the issues you likely have created for yourself.

This is what I was getting at.

In the context I was using the phrase, it’s about as meaningless as racist.

“Mental health” is stupid

I’d like to start this rant off by saying that if you have actual mental problems, this is not directed towards you. With that out of the way, just like all the other bullshite crutches that people use today. Naomi Osaka is a prime current example. Didn’t want to get interviewed and said she’d pay the fine, then faced backlash for not wanting to do her interview (which is part of her fricking job) so she just quits the French open and cites “mental health” as the issue.

I see this excuse in the same vain as somebody throwing the race card down. When somebody uses it, it’s like there’s a protective shield around them and you can’t refute what they said or you’re somehow a piece of shite. It’s bullshite and ought to be called out nonstop. If you’ve got real mental problems, that’s one thing. But you having anxiety over people calling you out for not doing your job doesn’t equal some sort of mental health problem and it’s shitty to use that argument.

Frankly, I’m sick and tired of hearing about all this mental health bullshite. What happened to stoicism? What happened to the grin and bear it mentality? I think there’s a deeper issue for all these “mental health” problems we’re having in this nation and in western civilization as a whole but I don’t think this is the thread for that.

frick soft people like Naomi Osaka and a lot of people in my age group.

There’s right and there’s wrong. I for one don’t want the NCAA’s dirty arse money if they’re going to come into my city, or state for that matter, and dictate to us what kind of fricking laws we are and are not allowed to have.

Money or not, you have to stand for something. Yes, it might cost you money; yes, it might cost you friends. It does not matter. You cannot give in with these pieces of shite.

Same goes for the MLB, NFL, NBA, PGA, whatever. If you want to come to my city to have an event but I have to change my laws to fit your delicate sensibilities, then frick ya. We don’t need your money that bad.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, but lose his soul?
The US Chamber of Commerce has been a huge hand behind illegal immigrants flooding over the border.

My dog (who I am just so thrilled to have purchased right before I found out my wife was pregnant) has separation anxiety issues and can’t stand to be outside without me or my wife being out there with her for more than like 15 mins before she starts scratching. This happened when we weren’t home for an extended period of time and I felt bad about leaving her inside in the kennel so I decided to leave her out. Obviously, lessons were learned on that front.

Anyway, wife and I are first time homeowners so doing minor handy-work around the house is still being learned on my end. What’s the best way to go about tackling this issue? The door, not the dog. Dog’s going to obedience school seeing as I’m stuck with her another 12-15 years.

Leftists speak out of the side of their mouths constantly because they’re lying pieces of shite.

I understand the electoral college and that a ton of shady crap happened. Trump should have won the election, per the rules. But he lost the popular vote by millions. I don't like the electoral college and want it eliminated. So I'd be a hypocrite if I learned on that..

Why? So they can affirm them?

I wish people like you that would ruin a person’s life over something like this would be permanently canceled. Of course, you’d have to be worth something in order to be canceled, which leftists are not.
