My grand dad worked for the Arkansas Dept of Forestry for 20yr and as a i was a child there were 2 towers he was reponsible for. One inbetween Crossett and Fountain Hill and one between Fountain Hill and Monticello.
They had a base station radio and a view that was outta this world amazing.

It has been a few years but yes.
The cabins are older but we enjoyed our stay.
My brother lives about 30min from there and he goes fishing there alot.
Not a bad place IMO

1994 Fountain Hill High School (Arkansas) to Disney World on Senior trip. No a/c but it did have a radio.
Was something like 20hrs if i remember correctly.
30yrs ago and seems like yesterday.
My oldest grandson started Pre-K today and that makes me really feel old af...

Standing outside my patrol car one night a car passes and gets just past some bushes and hear a loud thud. Thinking they had hit a dog but hearimg no squeel or howl i drive down to see what it was and sure enough was a possum. He was bleeding from his ears and mouth and i figured for sure he was so ...

~2k mile round trip last year in a Maxima Platinum rental from Enterprise.
Best $800 I have spent for comfort and good gas mileage.
First time I ever rented for a vacation but it was well worth it depending on your current vehicle and what you need to accommodate the trip you are about to take...

#2 Gatlinburg Brewing.
ETA: You can filter and find a cabin with that setup. Did it last October.
