If you listen to his interview about the loss of The Skipper, when referring to the facilities LSU has now, he says "we've" got great facilities now. If you don't think that LSU still occupies a big space in his heart, you are sadly mistaken!

For me it would be the 1997 Ole Miss game. They came out the week after beating #1 Florida and got totally dominated by the rebels, 36-21 in a game that wasn't as close as the score! Talk about a major letdown game! :banghead:

I’m with you on the SEC stuff! With that said, being from Mississippi, I’ll be pulling for USM to make it. They’ve always had a gritty team but come up just short of making it to Omaha a couple of times.

Best thing I can say, going forward is, don't believe a word anyone tells you from preseason practice or pay any attention to the stats in the intersquad games because it will likely tell you absolutely nothing about the team!
