The illegal shift was committed by a player who was behind/off the line of scrimmage, therefore it does not constitute a stoppage of play. Only fouls that happen on the line of scrimmage stop the play.

This makes more sense and is a lot more believable than anything I’ve read on here today. I still don’t believe Kelly will be let go, but if he is I wouldn’t be opposed to Wilson finishing out the year.

Then the Powers that Be need to sit their arses down and figure out what they're going to do about the situation! Either you fire Kelly(unless, by some miracle he manages to make the playoffs) or you keep him and figure out how you're going to come up with the money to get the players in that will be needed to be competitive! :spank:
