Like someone else posted, I would definitely find a way to handle the major camera brands (Nikon, Canon, Sony) in person.

Just know you can get more for your money if you consider other than these brands. Panasonic Lumix has more features for less money.

However, you aren't gonna touch a decent setup regarless of brand without spending at least 3k. The problem is that you need the body (1-3K for any of these cameras) but what you should be spending even more money on is glass: good lenses.

You need multiple lenses. I have 16-24; 70-200; and 100-400. These really cover the basics. All together about 4-5K. A similar Sony setup (arguably the best) is 8-9K.

I have the Lumix S5 mk2x, which has near pro videography and photography.

If you are competing against others for biz, you'll need a good setup. Educate yourself w Youtube.
Let them lay where they fall.

Ain't nobody out here in freakin country gives a shite about lawn trimmings.
Walked 18,959 steps so far today. Prepping a pad for a new outbuilding today. Did make time for a trip to the gym this AM. I'm 64.

I was 100% on board with the strikes on their nuclear facilities 7 months ago, that was a good call, and it should've stopped right there. Iran had made zero progress in recovering their nuclear program after those strikes, there was absolutely zero reason to get into this quagmire.

This is where I'm at. How did he get talked into this?

This is NOT what I voted for.

What to do next? I have no idea. He created this. His ego won't let him back off. What a mess.
Why would you take drugs to lose 10 pounds?

Just eat less.
First person in my family tree to graduate from college, BS Comp Sci 1989.

Came from a long line of people that lived in the Neutral Strip of La near the Sabine since the 1800s. Oilfield and cornfield trash. I was the only one to venture down south.

Had no affinity for LSU, only reason I went there over FSU was Tandy Computers had a top 5 sales store there I could transfer to. Worked out, within a year was making bank going to school part time.
Rookie numbers...made 72 ozs my last grow. I'm 64, started growing a couple years ago when I retired. Im not in La however.
Wife works three nights a week. I get more done in the shop and sleep better.

But they've been hacked up, chewing gum and baling wire for the past 20 years to keep 'em running. Maybe get some parts out of them, but I doubt there are many that would be worth much at all.
There's people that want this. Unrestored cars are a thing. Maybe well start seeing Ebay ads like this: Unrestored, still running 53 Merc with flathead, 1.2 million miles, near perfect body panels.

They've had no supply chain and no money for 60 years. They are highly motivated and inventive to keep things running. The few videos I've seen show cars that are well taken care of.

Certainly Mr Ford and his buddies never envisioned or intended this.

Rookie numbers...since like early 2000's for me and the F three fiddy...
Dad's Union 76 Service station starting in 1975 at 14. $1.80 an hour. worked from 3 or 4 pm to 9 daily, all day Saturday. Didn't punch a clock.

Thank god I never had to work in a grocery store, fast food or any of that crap. Worked with men who could fix anything. Learned a lot.
Sure...we do a few pool parties a year and a bonfire or two. Have a giant screen to project music videos, sports, what have you.

It's good in that it forces us to clean up, make some improvements, etc. Love the parties.
Wife works three nights a week.

That's when I crank up the barrel fire next to the shop, the old honky tonk sound comes on, projects are resumed while bourbon is sipped.

Your post is misleading.

Thanks to you lame-o’s that don’t show out for day games and leave early anytime the opponent isn’t Top 10, the greatest venue in sports isn’t even #1 anymore.

Great job guys.

He said if we are playing at night, it's the clear number 1 in the sport.

But a different atmosphere with a noon or 2:30 kickoff.

He's right.

Now, is Neyland better in either case? No.

On the other hand, he had Washington and Oregon in the top 10 but not Ohio State or Michigan. So take it for what it's worth.
That's not bad mileage.

My kid (2016 Silverado 1500, 70k miles) wanted to be cool and bought a 6" inch lift kit and 37 x 13.5 Nitto Mud Blaster's for it without talking to me first.

Told him he'd need to regear it to have any chance of not bricking the tranny within a month. And that his truck has the clamshell diffs that cost $2,500 each to regear. The guy who sold it to him said don't worry about it.

He needed a 4wd shop owner to tell him this again before he believed it. Luckily he was able to recoup his money and resold everything.

They were blown away by restaurant portion sizes. They were repulsed by it. They said no wonder everyone is fat around here.

Yep, that's why on the rare occasion my wife and I go to a restaurant we'll share an appetizer and an entre. All that food, just sad.

Oh, and we sit on the same side of a booth (OT hates this).

Nope.

Think Kevin Bacon.
DC snipers began devolving in my little town, Ashland VA. I was in the YMCA working out the night they came and got a shower, just before they shot the guy at the Ponderosa.

BUT, this one was so senseless and hit home as the Harvey house was right next to the mountain bike path I rode all the time. It felt really weird riding there afterward. Knowing those little girls died like that.

These assholes just walked right into these peoples house on NYD, who were busy prepping their house for a party they held every year.
