The baseball freaks are incapable of realizing that Jay had and has had and will always have the best budget in the country. They can’t blame this years failure on lack of money. It’s borderline impossible to miss the field of 64 with our baseball investment
Meh. I like McMahon, wish him the best and will root for him

He’s not good. Those 60-120 ranked kids (that McMahon loved to clean up on) are just in a shitty spot in this era of CBB. All the potential based on traits and build but major conferences don’t want to pay for guys that can’t contribute
Gun to my head guess:
Madar Bashir Niang Dioubate Dessert
I disagree. Don’t think he’s athletic enough to be a 3. I think he’s a small 4
Going from 6’9 in college to 6’7 is gonna hurt him
Yea he’s perfect for positionless basketball. He’s an ideal small ball 4, could also guard the wing as a 3 in big lineups. Think the biggest thing for him would be what situation he gets drafted into. Hes not a #1 or #2 option in the NBA

ETA: I think he’d be dumb to take his name out the draft. No doubt he’d be a good player for us but for someone with his (lack of relative) production to be projected 1st round, you have a much higher chance of lowering your stock than raising it by coming back

They gonna finally play defense to beat OKC or SA?

2. Pistons 104.7
3. Knicks 104.8

Hell of a college career after he transferred out
He’s not a good defender at all but he is an upgrade defensively over PJ Carter
Please back up your claim with player stats. I would love to see comparisons between other players in the SEC that you think wouldn’t be an abject failure.

Bad team doesn’t mean bad players
There’s a mountain of things you can grill McMahon over.. not sure recruiting Dedan and Max is one of them lol they were clearly both SEC level players
Check out Sananda Fru this year. A freshman who averaged 9 and 6 but regarded as a top portal player because of analytics
Eason would’ve been a top 30 transfer if it were ranked then like it is now. The recruiting services just weren’t caught up on the analytics softwares coaches were using when Tari transferred.

Michigan's NC roster was built the same way.

Not even close. Mara is the only guy who got minutes for them that wasn’t from the US and he had already played two years at UCLA before going to UM
Price we paid for him is rumored to be $3mil+

He’s going to play
Mo D
Divine
Niang
Dessert
Santos
Graves

I feel pretty good about all of those being done

re: Worst course ever played?

If Bayou Bend is the worst course you’ve ever played you must be living right. It’s not Oakbourne but it’s not THAT bad
Through my umpiring career I’ve seen this happen a few times. Usually what happens is the catcher tries to back pick the runner but clutches up because the batter is in the way. The catcher and his/her coach cry for interference to which the Ump responds “they can be wherever they want to be. Interference has to actually occur”. Coach then tells the kid just to throw it so it gets called and that’s how this mess happens
From what I’ve picked up, McNeil has a major case of homesickness. Would be a surprise if he left the state of North Carolina
