re: If Petrino doesn't fire Williams then none of this matters

I'm surprised he was given that latitude, as an interim. Sounds like he has been given every tool possible to prove himself worthy of the permanent position.

What a load of horse spit. The reason we are in football hell is because of the decisions the administration has made since BP's departure. He didn't hire BB, fire J. Long without a replacement, get played by Gus, hire Chaggy, or Cashacheck.
He made his own mistakes, but what came after is NOT on him.

My uneducated position on the lack of this team's football success is that it's down to no accountability.
We may not be stacked with talent, but there's enough there to do better than 6-6. There's no self-discipline from the members of this team, illustrated by the many mental mistakes and turnovers. Clean those up, and we are looking at a far better record.
I don't recall seeing anyone getting their butts chewed for turning over the ball, or seeing anyone ride the bench for their poor performance. It's a bit reminiscent of Hooten's 'grab arse' tenure, in my view.

Puritans, maybe, but not conservatives.

Thanks. Guess I missed it.

I haven't seen anyone mention that we had subbed in our entire D line during that last drive, when aTm went ahead.
Why in the name of all that is holy did we do that?

Would you rather listen to someone constantly sniffing? Or see someone with snot running down their upper lip?

It's five years on. How long are we going to wait for him to get his ish together?

This isn't the first place I've seen his name dropped, but others seem to have him on their wish list.
And that's what I just don't get. I find no sense of excitement at the proposition, and I don't see it garnering any sort of positive momentum with regard to recruitment, either.

I wish. But things never seem to turn out exactly how I want. So probably not.

Yeah. I addressed that earlier. I didn't see what he did until later. All I saw was him celebrating.

Yeah, I didn't see that until well after the penalty. That wasn't celebrating; it fits the definition of 'taunting'. It's a dumb move.

Too much celebrating? Is that what drew the flag?
