re: Has anybody done the Camino de Santiago?
Posted by Smurph33 on 2/14/26 at 5:09 am to jasonbr1975
My parents (mid-60s) completed the French route of the Camino last year, about 500 miles.
My sister and I were tracking their progress with the life 360 app. What we did not mention to them is that we had booked flights to Spain to surprise them. Mid-Way through their journey we flew into Madrid, rented a car, and drove 4 hours through grasslands and mountains.
We were waiting on the trail head with our backpacks at 5am. When they finally saw us they broke down in shock and joy. (I think mainly because they saw we had a car haha).
We hiked with them for about a week then left them about 100 kilometers from Santiago.
The Camino is absolutely what you make of it. Time slows down. Your thoughts slow down and become clearer. The universal accepted theme among the hikers is that you make the hike your own, go at your own pace.
It seems like that seed is planted for you, so take a that next step.
Practically speaking, Spain is easy to navigate, and accessible. We used to live there so the medical system is quality as well should something arise.
Good luck in your search

I just noticed that!! He is celebrating but then sees Randall start celebrating…his whole demeanor just implodes ??
20 downvotes for a prompt?
Thanks for all the feedback! I’m cautiously optimistic for an improved run game. Geaux Tigers!
The LSU run game will be better this year because…

…better depth at RB? Better overall run blocking? Better play calling?
Or maybe it won’t be better. I thought this was a glaring weakness on last year’s team but it’s hasn’t been discussed much as far as I can see. What is the general consensus for the run game this year going forward?

The same thing that would happen if one WNBA player played against you and 11 of your friends.
Nobody said that

Isn’t it amazing? I feel like I get to skip half the interstate on my drive home.

So you are saying the league made Dallas trade their future so the Lakers can keep their relevance?
No. Just no. Dallas will not be the favorite out of the west. All their stars out now over 30. Dallas just gave up a generational talent at 25 for an oft injured 30 yr old. They lost this trade. Forget favorites out of the west

What’s the etiquette on backing your car in? Same scenario: multiple empty spots but people are waiting while you back in, thoughts?
There is now way it’s guaranteed, right?!

Sure, but you also don’t have yearly mass turnover to the transfer portal either
Or it’s just F-ing dirty

Your comment shows very low intelligence.
Please stop. People died today and a former president was shot. Maybe pause for a second before implying all parties of a different political party want people to die.

On a different note, how many double dribbles actually happened?
I’m counting one.
How many y’all got?
